"This introduction to Blacksmithing was excellent!! John, the instructor, was great and we all managed to get through the processes which progressed really well through the things we made. I came away with things I had made that are useful and demonstrate great features of blacksmithing. Learnt loads about a forge and how important heat control is as well as finishing techniques to protect the metal. Thanks John!!"

"My husband and I were gifted a voucher for a 1-day workshop with Jo. We did not know what to expect as neither one of us has ever done any sculpting work before. It was amazing! Jo and her husband Andy are the most welcoming hosts and we were treated to endless supplies of coffee and tea and snacks and chocolate. We enjoyed ourselves immensely! Jo's wonderfully easygoing nature made us feel as if we had always done sculpting. Clear instructions, always on hand to offer advice without interfering, and offering plenty of helpful hints and tips. Our hares are pieces of art to behold and we are thrilled with our work. The next visit will be a 2-day workshop, we cannot wait to get back to Jo's studio. Totally recommend the experience, book now ... you will love every minute of the workshop. We loved the experience! Kate was an excellent tutor and I found the skills/process led approach very helpful which resulting in a great piece of work, considering I was a complete novice at 10 o clock in the morning, on completion. The cafe, for lunch, is spot on!"

"I really enjoyed the Lino cut workshop. Claire was very encouraging and inspiring, is obviously a very talented artist. She was able to pace the workshop in such a way that there was time to learn, time to have a go, and time to make a start on a Lino cut design. I liked the way Claire gave attention to us as individuals as well as taking us through the process together, step by step. By the end of the class I felt more confident in my ability to create some nice Lino cut designs."

"We went as a group of 3 to celebrate turning 40. We had the most wonderful day. I've made a fabric backpack before but had no idea there would be so much involved in making a leather one - I learned so much. Georgie is such a friendly, experienced, kind and patient teacher so it wasn't too hard. One of our party had never sewn at all, so it really is accessible to all. The workshop and her tools are incredible (could have spent the whole day just exploring!). There was ample tea, snacks and lunch provided. I love my new backpack so much - I keep showing it off to people!"
