"*HIGHLY RECOMMEND* The perfect Saturday afternoon spent in a warm and friendly mosaic workshop. There is an abundance of materials and design ideas to fully indulge your artistic side. My friend and I felt fully relaxed by the end of the workshop having expert tuition on how to best achieve our design goals. Even when I hadn't finished my piece, Marie kindly gave me all the tools and guidance to finish it at home. Lovely friendly dogs to keep you company, and tasty warm drinks and snacks. Highly Recommend to anyone wanting to try a bit of mosaic. "

Jeannine reviewed: Hare Sculpture workshop with Jo Garden Art in beautiful Norfolk/Suffolk

"What a fantastic day! From starting with a coffee at 9am to leaving with our treasured sculptures eight hours later, the whole experience of making a hare from scratch was meticulously planned. Jo was very welcoming, highly experienced, and patient, with all the different stages of construction perfectly timed. There are opportunities to personalise your own hare, so that no two are ever alike. And Jo’s beautiful studio is set in the most beautiful position, with many of Jo’s own sculptures to admire. Never having ever done anything like this before, I would thoroughly recommend this course (although wonderful for more experienced sculptors too I should think as Jo will give as much, or as little, guidance as you need). I am absolutely delighted with my ā€˜running hare’ and quite amazed that I was able to make such a wonderful thing! Thank you Jo - it was ALL fantastic!"

Jo Garden Art responded:

"Thanks Jeannine! We are so lucky to live in this gorgeous location. Your running hare was fabulous - so much movement! Hope to see you again, Jo x"

Andy Green reviewed: Introduction to candle-making as a business

"This is a brilliant little course, hosted by somebody that clearly works far too hard. Jo is very passionate about what she does and anybody that is thinking about doing this course, needs to get booking. Good things don’t last forever. Food, tea, coffee and cold drinks are in abundance and you will be well and truly catered for. Everything you need to get you started, in constructing your business plan as well as the basics in candle making will be afforded to you. You will not be an expert when you leave, but you will have the tools to learn your craft. You will leave with plenty of information, pointing you in the right direction to make you successful and I was surprised at how much information Jo yielded about her business. Very few other business owners would deliver this level of open and honest, trade secret sharing. Don’t hesitate, get booking. "

The White Candle Company responded:

"What a lovely review - thank you so much :) I do believe in honesty, it's a warts and all course! I truly am very proud when I see people go off on their own journeys and have enough confidence in my own business to not worry about competition! It was lovely to meet you and I'd be really interested to know how it goes from hereon. Take care lovely. Best wishes, Jo x"

"What a fantastic day my husband had. I booked the day a little apprehensive as he was not making a knife which I thought he wanted, but what he got far succeeded all my expectations. From the very minute we met Dave and Bex they were very welcoming showing us around their forge and accommodation. For anyone that wants to take part in forging I believe this is the experience you need. My husbands experience was one if the best he has ever had and he will be returning for the 3 day knife and axe event when the date is confirmed. Thanks Bex and Dave for making one happy man on his birthday. "
