Krissy Pope reviewed: Crafty Basketry's Hedgerow Basket Making for Beginners/Improvers - Day Course at Cowshed Workshop, Tenterden

"I had an absolutely wonderful day!! Marianne is not only a very kind patient and welcoming person she is an incredible talent and a compliment to basket weaving! The day was very well thought out learning about the history as well as how to grow willow and the varieties to full on one to one help and instructions, Tea Coffee Cake and Fruit and examples of her work with an option to purchase. Marianne sent us all photos and videos taken during the day with a thoughtful email and after care email with instructions on how to make a basket through to suppliers and how to soak the willow, and what terminology meant. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND- I learnt ALOT and I will be using my new found skill within my own small business and I will be definitely coming back not only to hone skills and continue to learn and improve but also to Marianne in support of her exquisite talent for the craft!! Sean Lima reviewed: DIY Workshop: Power Tools Course

"Another great course from Richard and the River Shop that I did as a follow up to the resin workshop. Lots of handy tips and tricks that I'll be able to apply to bigger projects and general wood working, not just tables. It was great being able to use some more advanced machinery while we also learned how to use more basic tools available to the DIYer. Highly recommend the course and can't wait to receive my table top once it's ready. "

Maggie. reviewed: 2-day mosaic workshops in West London

"I initially took part in this Mosaic weekend as a gift from my daughter and I totally loved it! So much so I did a second weekend. Sarah makes you very welcome. The setting is so relaxed. There is a wide range of resources to choose from and I came away with two wall plaques/decorations that I feel very proud of. I also took my own mirror frame to decorate. There is such a wide range of tiles and resources to choose from and all the tools you need. Sarah explains all the techniques in a clear and friendly manner with lots of support as you create your individual pieces. You are also sent home with some very useful printed instructions to reinforce and develop your creativity at home. If you would like to learn about Mosaics as a new skill or to reinforce your knowledge Sarah's weekend is the one! "

Sarah Stanley Mosaics responded:

"Thank you so much Maggie for such a lovely review and kind comments. And also for coming back a second time - you have produced some really lovely work, you have a real sense of colour and your pieces are so lively. Thank you so much for such a glowing review - I really appreciate it! Sarah x"
