"I absolutely loved doing this course and highly recommend it. Lynne is well deserving of her Platinum Award, her attention to detail was second to none, she had work stations set out for the three of us with all the tools/equipment required. In addition, there was a good selection of leather pieces, threads etc to choose from. Lynne was very knowledgeable and provided expert tuition, this was supported by comprehensive instructions and diagrams, plus a list of suppliers which were all extremely helpful. I am definitely going back again to do the intermediate course. Ps Lynne makes fabulous Welsh cakes. "

I really wasn't sure that as a complete weaving beginner I would be able to make a functional and attractive basket, especially in a one day course, but I did and am absolutely delighted with the result. Jane was a lovely teacher and had lots of patience, supporting 9 attendees. We all appeared to get the support and attention we needed I think. I would definitely do this course again. "I was elated as I left the basic blacksmithing course and would recommend this course to anyone interested in having a go at blacksmithing. I did the day course of basic blacksmithing and managed to make a bottle opener and decorative leaf in the time. I cracked a beer in the evening with the bottle opener as well which was very satisfying! Jos was really good at helping me understand the things we were doing and Gary gave some really helpful advice with some of the finer points of the craft. Also watching Gary and Jos make a bottle opener in about 3 minutes was worth the money alone, super impressive. Take some lunch if you don't drive is my advice as there wasn't much around the place if you don't have a car. I could bang on and on about this but I'll end with saying I'll be doing this again in the near future "

"Wonderful day, lots of fun, good instruction and plentiful materials. Had never done anything like it before, but with patient guidance acheived a great outcome. Fabulous lunch provided, along with copious tea and coffee. Good workshop area, although dry weather meant we could work outside in a very attractive garden, which enhanced an already lovely ambience. Would/will sign up for other courses or sessions."
