"I did the whittling course with Matt and Emma and what an amazing location. So back to basics and such a very enjoyable experience. Was a nice small group of people and plenty of help with the projects we did. The time just flew by. Would definitely recommend someone having a go at whittling and Matt is very knowledgeable and passionate about all things wood. I made 2 mushrooms and very pleased with them. Keen enough that I will be doing more of it. "

"Excellent intro to Mig welding with plenty of time to try out all the techniques that Nigel shows you. Obviously, it takes years of practice to get good, but even a complete novice like me can produce some satisfying welds within just a few hours on this course. It's a relaxed day, really enjoyable - Thanks!"

"What a wonderful day. I am a total novice and hadn’t done anything like this before. The day was broken down into small steps with fabulous explanations along the way. We were provided with an amazing lunch which we were able to eat in the sunshine. I am so proud that I was able to return home with a beautiful leather bag which I’m sure will serve me for years. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed the chair making course. Andy is a knowledgeable, friendly, kind and patient teacher. I had hardly any woodworking experience, but managed to produce a complete chair that I was proud to show off to my friends! I stayed camping in the woods, and enjoyed the peacefulness, hot shower and was able to charge my phone from the solar panels. Food at break time was lovely home made bread, and pizza on Wednesday . I would highly recommend this course."

"I really enjoyed this course. There were five participants which enabled our instructor to give a lot of one-to-one practical help with our designs. She was obviously skilled in wood carving and was able to guide us well with the different cuts and how to handle the tools. I think I would have appreciated a short handout to take home with perhaps, the sizes of the tools we actually used on the day (I had forgotten by the time I got home!) and maybe some books suggestions or useful websites addresses (I did find it tricky to find simple templates online for instance}. But overall very good and the time went very quickly, as we were all so absorbed in the carving. Vivienne"

"Attending this course on 25th July, I’ve had the most wonderful time learning a new way to create unique prints every single time. This technique has given me a lot of ideas on how to apply different materials for textures to the prints. The course is a great value for money as it has added a new way to my work, which I’ll be using in conjunction with my other art in future. Very inspiring. Jayne is such a patient teacher and showed me everything from beginning to end, even how to store away the gelli plate after finishing. Thank you Jayne. "

"I have recently completed my second silver ring making workshop with Sarah. This time it was in her beautiful new studio in Harts Barn, Longhope. Sarah is so knowledgeable and patient, she has a wonderful manner and it was so rewarding to see our rings take shape and all the processes they went through. It was incredibly good value and such a fabulous few hours with someone who knows their craft well and is able to impart their knowledge in an easy to follow way. Bramble, Sarah’s lovely dog joined in and we had freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream all in an amazing setting with a tremendous view. I’ll definitely do another workshop and would highly recommend Wye Creative to everyone!"

"I only went to TBF as an experience. I knew my wife liked bee's so thought she would enjoy it. We both found it to be fantastic. Dawn and Dafydd are brilliant. Very patient answering all questions and explaining everything you could possibly want to know about bees. They clearly love life and what they do. Honey also tastes fantastic. You really think honey bees are brilliant after seeing them in the hive. An experience everyone should have just to see what nature can achieve. They make you feel at ease at all points with bee's in close proximity not being a worry. Only FYI would bee is that they don't mention you need to take a baseball cap to keep the net away from your face. That you need to wear long socks. Also to wear trousers. I changed into trousers. Dawn gave me an oversized suit to mitigate the fact I was only wearing trainers socks. She also kindly lent us baseball caps. If you have a bucket list put this course on it :) you won't regret it."
