"What a fab day my daughter and i spent with Emma at her workshop! Wonderful instruction stage by stage meant that we both finished the day with little mirrors that we were really proud of. We learnt so much across what was a very relaxing enjoyable day, topped up with tea and biscuits - i cant think of a better way to spend a day off !! Emma thank you so much for your patience! "This was a good introduction to wheel pottery and the tutor was clear, concise and had a good dry sense of humour. That said, it did feel like a bit of a production line as there were probably too many student sin the class (around 20), which meant there was some waiting and a limited amount of advice for each student. We did both enjoy the course and definitely learnt a new skill."

"An absolutely excellent experience! Had a great day learning a new craft from stock material to finish. As other reviews also say, every step of the process is explained in detail which really helped my confidence when making the knife. Dave is a great teacher - patient, full of knowledge & enthusiasm for his craft. I've come away from this with a cracking piece of design but also with a whole wealth of information. I'd recommend this course to anyone, especially if you're a designer/maker/creative."

There are template options for all abilities so no matter how easy/hard you find it, you will always go home with something special. With Nikki's guidance you work through the course modules and homeworks, which all come together to help you discover your personal style so that your finished design is exactly what you want and love. Nikki is very supportive and full of industry knowledge and ideas to guide you to create your ideal scheme. I found the weekly phone calls reassuring as Nikki helped me refine the ideas that I was creating, adding in design tips or suggesting simple changes that I hadn't thought of, then sending me links to explore my ideas further. Week by week everything fell into place to create my finished scheme. With Nikki's guidance I have changed my lounge from a room that "never felt right"to a room that I truly love. I now have the modules and design process ready to use for the next room in our house. Thank you so much Nikki for such a great course!"
