Caroline Amphlett reviewed: Valentine's Day Watercolour, Prosecco & Chocolate experience( minimum booking is for 2)

"Chris and I loved our Valentine's Watercolour session with Amina. We arrived to a beautifully decorated studio with red hearts and lit candles on the tables and a background of wonderful, calming, quiet classical music to create an atmosphere of warmth and welcome. Amina took us through the basics of Watercolour so we could create a suitable background for a simple piece of our choosing to paint or draw over this. Toby was in charge of keeping the clients in suitable mood by lying quietly on the back of Chris's chair and we thoroughly enjoyed our painting session particularly as we were kept suitably recharged with Prosecco and Chocolates as we went along. If not before we may well be back for next 14th Feb as we can't imagine a nicer and more imaginative way to spend St Valentines Day! Thank you Amina we had a lovely time."

A.S.K Art & Pottery Gallery & Studio responded:

"Thanks for the lovely review. It was a wonderful afternoon which Toby & I thoroughly enjoyed. Keep painting & drawing, and, we'll see you very soon. x"

Vicky reviewed: Woodturning for beginners

"I'd highly recommend learning wood turning with Stuart. We took our boys for a 2 day course and they both loved it . We also had fun watching what they were up to and learning more about it. It was great to see them try something they could not normally get to do, and to feel like Stuart was keeping them safe but also teaching them how to manage the risks themselves. Stuart was really patient and let the boys choose what they were interested in and adapted to them. They are 8 and 14, so with very different abilities, but both got something out of it and left really pleased with what they'd achieved - we now have a very beautiful cup, egg cup, goblet, spinning top and garden dibber! They are now bugging us to get the kit to do more at home! The setting is also very lovely and we enjoyed feeding the robins on our lunch break."

The Scottish Woodturner responded:

"Hi Vicky, Thanks for the review. So glad they both enjoyed it and if you do decide on getting them some kit let me know if I can help. "
