Jake Matthias reviewed: Cornish Blacksmithing Experience

"An amazing course for anyone looking to learn the basics of blacksmithing whilst being able to walk away with a finished product the same day. Jeremy was a great tutor who expertly walked me through each step whilst explaining the history behind the tools and profession. The forge itself was incredible and in such a lovely part of Cornwall. I quickly felt confident handling the metal and tools during the practice session before we moved onto the real piece. It was great being able to use both traditional and modern tools as well as understanding more about the heat treatment process. Would highly recommend this course!"

Bev Hulme reviewed: Two day (consecutive) stained glass starter course at North Norfolk Stained Glass

"This was an excellent course. Paul is an expert in his field and imparted so much useful information in a fun and informative way. The small number of students (4) meant that we all received personal tuition whenever we needed it and the piece I created was so much better than I could have hoped. I couldn't recommend this more."

"I loved every minute of this course from meeting the alpacas to the weaving of the fleece. I felt like I had been transported at weaving heaven. So much more than the amazing weaving experience."

Smallholding Secrets responded:

Lesley reviewed: Silver Jewellery Making 1 to 1 Private Class

"I have just completed two days with Kate. A wonderful half term holiday break. The location of the studio is ideal with a sea view and handy for lunch time walk. Right next door to a brilliant cafe too. I have some experience and Kate was brilliant at providing tailor made coaching for the areas I was rusty on as well as exposing me to new techniques that stretched my capability. Having had a break from this hobby I now have the confidence to take it up again. "

Sea and Silver Jewellery School responded:

"Thank you Lesley. I am pleased you enjoyed your time at Sea and Silver Jewellery School. Enjoy your jewellery making. 😊"

Nick V reviewed: Introduction to Green Wood Furniture Making - 2 Day Course in South Devon

"This was a brilliant 2 day course learning the basics of working with green wood and coming out the other end with a very lovely and fully functional sidetable :). The 2 days really flew by as we learned so many techniques and skills, all carefully supervised by Peter and his excellent apprentice, Toby. All this in a calm and peaceful, rural location with plenty of tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits. Like all of the other participants, I left completely fired up with the desire to make some more furniture ... and, of course, acquire all the right tools! I hope to return for another course in the not-too-distant future. Highly recommended."
