Chocolate making workshop - truffles and filled chocolates

Here at the Chocolate School, we are passionate about chocolate and pride ourselves in teaching professional chocolatier skills that can be repeated at home. Whether you are just starting out, wanting to advance your skills or simply love everything chocolate, we’d love to teach you in our relaxed and fun three hour chocolate making workshops. Join us for a three hour fun and hands-on workshop where you will learn how to make delicious and professional looking chocolates. You will make a selection of truffles and filled chocolates and will take your beautifully crafted chocolates home with you (approximately 12 truffles, 24 filled chocolates and some decorated chocolate bark). COURSE STRUCTURE: You will start by learning about the process of making chocolate from cocoa beans and the different ingredients that go into chocolate. You will then taste some different types of chocolate and decide what type you want to use for your own chocolate making. After this you will make and flavour a ganache, which you will pipe into chocolate moulds. Once these have set, you will seal the chocolates. Whilst your filled chocolates are setting, you will learn how to temper chocolate so that it has a perfect texture and shine. You will then temper your own chocolate and use this to coat your truffles. You will then roll them in an outer decoration of your choice and use any left over chocolate to make a chocolate bark. Finally, you will package your chocolates to take home with you.
