"I attended one if Liz’s Lino cut courses on Saturday, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the very beginning Liz created a creative and inspiring atmosphere that made the whole experience both relaxing and creatively invigorating. Liz is not only incredibly skilled but she is also a great teacher - patient, encouraging and always ready with helpful tips. Beverley Bruce reviewed: 1 Day Coiled Baskets Course

"I had such a great time making little coiled baskets. It feels good to learn a traditional craft which has been practiced by our ancestors for millennia and also nice to meet interesting, like minded people. The course was well prepared and planned and I was glad that alternative arrangements to hold it inside were possible as the weather forecast had been appalling. "

Jack Raven Bushcraft responded:

"Hi Beverley, We're glad that you enjoyed your time with us and thanks for leaving a review."

Avril reviewed: Dry flowers-half wreath making

"My Son and fiancée bought me the dried flower wreath making course for my birthday. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was a great experience. It is located just off Wellfield Road above a small craft/ art gallery with parking outside or in the library around the corner. We were made to feel very comfortable on arrival and offered a cup of tea, coffee or cola. The whole process was explained and briefly demonstrated. We were told to choose the colours we wished to use in our design and then provided with the tools to start. After completing around 30 small bouquets overseen by Lulia at all times to make sure we created something worthwhile, we were given a wreath ‘base’ and we twisted the bouquets into half wreaths that all looked fabulous ( even my son, who is not at all into arts and crafts and I suspect was more along for the breakfast we had beforehand in the nearby cafe!) The time flew by and although we did go over the two hour slot by about 20 minutes we did not feel rushed to finish. A brilliant course especially if you have an event to plan where dried flowers would make excellent decorations such as a wedding. Lulia was patient , helpful and happy to answer any question from how to dry flowers to arranging and making displays. I thoroughly enjoyed. "
