"Great day and very much enjoyed the experience. Ade and Andy are very attentive with clear demonstrations and practical help if needed. Debbie also provided great food and cakes to keep everyone going. Everyone was at beginner level but everybody managed to create their own pieces without being rushed. Would definitely recommend."

"I attended the Beginners DIY and home maintenance workshop this week and learnt so much. Having done very little in the way of DIY previously, I now have much more confidence to try different jobs around the home. It was great to have the opportunity to try new skills during the course. The notes provided during the learning session are a really useful prompt. And the home toolkit list will be essential in putting together some key items. It was a really lovely day, in a small group so very relaxed, and definitely worth attending. Thanks again Jo"

"I had a super day creating my clay sculpture. Connie is an excellent tutor very knowledgeable and encouraging. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and everyone enjoyed being creative. Connie gave expert guidance to all our group as we created hares, a lizard, a fairy house and me a dragon. Would highly recommend this course. The time flew past."

"The axe making was a brilliant day. I had made a knife before and a few pieces at School but with Sandy’s help and instruction I managed to produce something more complex that I can use and will always be proud of. Sandy is knowledgable and a great instructor. He knows how much to intervene and gives clear instructions. His workshop is well equipped and he clearly enjoys teaching and helping students to make the most of their time. The teacher student ratio is generally 1:2. All materials and safety equipment provided. I really felt I had been taken to the next level of blacksmithing in just a few hours"
