Anthony reviewed: Beginners spoon carving

"I had such a great time on this course on 19th Sept. It was excellently run, with a seemingly limitless supply of tea, coffee and cake. Nick and Debbie were excellent, encouraging and knowledgable guides. We got to try out a range of tools, and best of all - I carved a spoon! We're going to hang it as an ornament above our kitchen door, as a marker. The first of many, now I've got the bug!"

Gosman Spoon Co. responded:

"Thank you Anthony for your kind words. It was a pleasure having you on the course. Happy spoon carving :)"

Trevor Evans Lindsay reviewed: Introduction to fused glass (1 day) in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

"What a great day, Martin made us all feel very welcome. He gave us all great instruction and with his guidance we were able to produce some lovely pieces of work. The day was full on and good value. Can't wait to collect my work. This is the second workshop I have attended with Martin McAssey Glass, the first was the Traditional Leaded Stained Glass workshop, which was equally great. I'm hoping to book the Tiffney Glass next year. Highly recommended."

Catherine reviewed: Alien spoon carving

"My second spoon carving day with Alan. Thoroughly enjoyed it and a smaller group meant more time to focus on technique. It was great to go over things like using the axe and amazing to start the day with a piece of tree branch and end it with a spoon even if not quite perfect. Spoon carving is quite addictive and I can’t think of a nicer way to spend a day than working with the wood in the garden being fed delicious food by Alan’s lovely partner. Totally recommend this."

Penny Roberts reviewed: Make at home - fused glass wild flower meadow kit

"This is a fun piece to make and I really enjoyed it. The kit is wonderfully packaged and the instructions were super clear which I was relieved to see as for my level of experience it was the most detailed piece I had worked on. I was thrilled when it was returned after firing as it looked so good and Natalie at #northnorfolkstainedglass kindly included a note in the package to say that it looked lovely. I would highly recommend ordering a kit from #northnorfolkstainedglass as it contains everything you need to make a beautiful piece that you will treasure."

Natalie Bullock Art responded:

"Hello Penny, Thank you for such a lovely review! :) So pleased to read that you are happy with your finished piece too! Best wishes Natalie x"

Tamsin Rogers reviewed: Craft Workshop: Learn to make silver art clay jewellery in a day (beginner)

"What a brilliant silver clay workshop experience I had with Sally. She is so knowledgeable and a fun, patient teacher... also just great company. I was encouraged to have my own ideas right from the start rather than following one brief of what you should make and she gave lots of inspiration and ideas for that. I learnt more than I thought I would in one day and came away with something that I really love and like to wear. So I can highly recommend Sally's beginners workshop to anyone wanting to discover the magic of silver clay in a relaxed and friendly environment. Thank you Sally and I hope to see you again."

Craft Workshops responded:

"Thank you for your fantastic review Tamsin - a thoroughly enjoyable and productive workshop. Your finished piece was lovely and I am looking forward to seeing what you create next :)"

I look forward to doing a further course with Mathew...worth every penny. Many many thanks."

Natasha R reviewed: One day silver pendant and earring workshop

"I bought the earrings and pendant workshop as a gift for my mum’s 60th birthday (instead of tea at The Ritz!). So happy with the decision as mum and I had a great day together, made all the more special by having keepsake jewellery to remind us of the day. Jolene was absolutely lovely from the outset. Prompt communication, flexible with dates and very welcoming and friendly once there. We had no idea what to make but Jolene offered a lot of inspiration. We were made to feel so at home in the workshop, Jolene is a great teacher and very patient! It was a great experience which I’d love to do again. Would highly recommend Jolene’s jewellery workshops."
