Louise Miller reviewed: Felt Making Pictures (Halifax)

"I was bought this class as a mother's day present from my son. I have done some felting before and needed help to progress with my skills. Despite also having a complete beginner in on the same day, Jo tailored her teaching for both our needs and guided us to create our own individual pieces. With lots of different materials available I was able to experiment with textures and fabrics in a way that I can't at home, giving me insight into what I might want to try in future. I left with a piece of work I am very happy with, and some new skills and ideas. A fun and informative class. Thank you Jo"

Heather reviewed: Introduction to fused glass (1 day) in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

"This course is energising , fun and immersive, a complete detox after a hard week at work, thank you. Martin structures the day well with demonstrations then lets you get on with it, advising when asked for. As a complete novice and not being particularly arty, he was reassuring and I was delighted with what I managed to complete and inspired with ideas for another workshop. Looking forward to seeing them after they've been fired."

Brenda Payne reviewed: Week-day (Three Day) Bobbin Lace Making - Daytime Mixed Lace Workshops (Stoke d'Abernon, Surrey).

"Last week end, 18/19 September 2021, I joined Tina's workshop. I was made most welcome and felt cared for. My knowledge was zero! I have come away from this weekend with a confidence I did not expect, knowing I can phone Tina if I am 'stuck' and she will talk me through it. The weekend was relaxed and informal. Tina was always my shoulder when I seem to get lost. I hope to join another course if not this year, definitely next year. Thank you Tina and Steven for making my experience so relaxed and happy."

Tina's Bobbin Lacemaking responded:

"Hi Brenda It's always good to hear that students have enjoyed a workshop, and they are itching to keep the lace going. Looking forward to seeing your caterpillar bookmarks made in the two stitches we covered over the weekend. Keep in touch. Regards Tina"

Mike and Penni reviewed: Stained glass one day course for beginners: one-to-one

"Had a fantastic day with Emma learning the basics of copper foil stained glass making. She helped with ideas but the pieces we made were very much our own, being guided through with encouragement we completed a piece each that we are both proud of that are now hung in ideal places in our home. We would highly recommend if you are considering doing this course. I would also like to say that I changed my booking after my husband decided he’d like to do it with me and Emma was extremely helpful and accommodating which we appreciated. Thanks Emma we really enjoyed our time with you, especially the banter along the way! Lovely day."
