"This was an excellent course. Not lectures but hands on working on your project from the word go. Jo is really helpful. She explained clearly what to do next and showed you as well. She was always there when you needed help or were ready to do the next step.There we’re 4 of us doing different types of work and she helped us all individually and seamlessly ( sorry about that one). The fact that 2 of the people were returning for a second course says it all. "

"Jamal was a very interesting and informative teacher. His knowledge and experience was evident in his approach. It was a wonderful course paced just right and each stage was skillfully demonstrated and discussed. Despite our limited ability we achieved our stained glass pieces with help from Jamal. There was plenty of time for us to ask questions and discover for ourselves how difficult it is to produce leaded stain glass panels. I finished with some well needed knowledge and ideas on what to get for my first build. Hands on skills to confidently buy the right and install electrical, water and fuel equipment. "We attended a 1 day workshop with Andy yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very informative and fun. Andy managed to share a lot of valuable information that makes a difference to the end result. This holistic approach meant that when the hands on time came you could truly appreciate what you were doing right (and wrong!). Andy's enthusiasm, knowledge, skill and experience were infectious, to the extent after never having done this before we are considering investing in a lathe and having more lessons! His wife Mary and their dog Angus were very welcoming as well. Great way to spend Sharon's birthday! "

"What a fantastic day!! Booked this for myself and my friend and we had a great day with Will (the tutor). Will was a great guy who was knowledgeable and easy to get along with. His experience was clear to see and he was very helpful. This is definitely a day I would love to do again and wish it had been spread over two days. The builders tea wasn't for me but Will kept the drinks flowing and spent time with everyone on the day. Keep up the great work Will and hope to see you again later in the year!! The range of candles, melts and other items we were able to make throughout the workshop was impressive, as was the access to all Julie's amazing resources! The huge afternoon tea provided was delicious too! It was all certainly excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it! "

"Booked 1/2 day glass fusion workshop with Nicky really last minute, she was so quick to respond and provided all the information needed. The workshop was just what we were looking for and Nicky offered lots of great advice and tips when making our designs. There were lots of options and styles to choose from. "I had a brilliant time at the taster session and learned so much. I really can't recommend a pottery session with Joan highly enough. It was a perfect balance of instruction and practice. Rather than trying to squeeze in too much, Joan suggested choosing two methods from handbuilding, pinch/coil pots and throwing on the wheel, which really made the most of the session. Joan is a very knowledgeable teacher and was very generous with her time. "

Special pieces of jewellery we made together with lovely memories to treasure alongside them. We absolutely loved our morning and look forward to another session where we can try out even more skills and techniques. "
