Use of materials and tools was well explained and demonstration was followed by hands on practice by myself and development of my project piece which I think turned out quite well. "A fun and informative course where you get to make your own piece of stained glass to take home. Whilst you have a choice of designs to follow, you can bring through your own creativity and uniqueness with a choice of different glass types and a range of colours to make your design. I didn’t have any knowledge of the processes beforehand but Ian explains everything and shares some interesting history of the origins of stained glass."

"Having expressed an interest in ‘having a go’ at at a stained glass workshop this starter course was booked by my daughter & partner as a birthday present for myself and husband. Iain is an excellent course leader. He started with a short introduction on stained glass in general and demonstrated the use of various tools and equipment before we commenced on our individual glass panels. With three persons on the course Iain was on hand to offer advice and assist as and when required. The whole day was so interesting the time whizzed by. We both thoroughly enjoyed the course and were very pleased with the resulting stained glass panels which have been much admired by family and friends. Would highly recommend."

"Treated myself to Ian's stained glass course and I am so pleased that I did. Had never cut glass or had any experience in soldiering before but Ian was always there to help. Was a fun day with good company. I took home my creation of the day.. a sun catcher to show my skills. Learnt the names of the traditional tools and would love to build on this experience. The only problem is the day went so fast. I would 100% recommend this course."
