"Really enjoyed the day spent cleaning a family oil painting. Rachael was so good at demonstrating various cleaning techniques and giving great insights into the science/theory behind the processes. Was so rewarding to see the nicotine layers fade away and the hidden fresh colours emerge. Would highly recommend and hope to return later this year, to complete final stages of the paintings’ full restoration. "

"Myself and a friend had a wonderful time on Christine's enamelling course. It was just the 2 of us there and she was patient and welcoming with all her instructions. We had a great time learning all about enamelling and Christine was great at entertaining all our questions. We came out with some great pieces, only over shone by the amazon pieces around the workshop that Christine has produced herself (which we couldn't help ourselves but bought a few of those items too). Thank you Christine we had a lovely time together and thinking of bringing back our older children to give it a try. "

"Completely brilliant course in every way. Sarah and Marcus are just the best tutors, friendly, knowledgeable and patient, allowing everyone to work at their own pace. The course was extremely well planned and we all went home with finished baskets! A couple of people had done a little basket making before, but most of us were complete novices and we learned so much. The workshop room was spacious, bright and airy and very close to the train station and city centre. If you're wondering whether to go, just book, I cannot recommend it highly enough!"

After the lesson, Jules even sends a list of materials you would need to make a ring/pendant at home. "It was my first time wood turning and I was a little apprehensive but from the moment I met Les I felt totally at ease. His method of teaching is that of being a friend more than a teacher. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of wood turning and, after a brief safety instruction, he got straight into making my very first bowl which turned out beautifully. He taught me so much and I will definitely be going back after practising what I was taught. If you need help and advice, Les is the best around."

"This was a really great course. Robert demonstrated how to use an axe to create an oblong blank then how to chip away the excess wood. The whittling knives purposes and techniques were then explained. Like most beginners I was often approaching the tasks from an awkward angle. Robert skilfully corrected any wayward work and encouraged progress. A thoroughly enjoyable day, and my first spoon will be one of many."
