Charlotte and Paul reviewed: Beginners half-day pairs pottery throwing workshop

"We thoroughly enjoyed our morning’s throwing lesson. Louise was an outstanding teacher, knowledgeable and talented. This was for my partner’s birthday, and he really loved the experience, and now wants to be a potter! We both managed to produce pieces worth firing, which we weren’t really expecting and my partner was brilliant and made 4 bowls! We are returning to decorate the pieces ourselves so that they are all ours 🥰 Thank you so much Louise "

Blended Monkey - pottery - woodturning - green woodworking - pole lathe - throwing responded:

"I'm so pleased you guys enjoyed your throwing experience. Paul seemed to be quite taken with the craft and was totally immersed! Well done to both of you ... and thank you so much for the lovely review! "

A Moore reviewed: Two leather long stitch journals in a day

"Lynne is an extremely hospitable host - we were treated to cherry cake and plenty of tea before the course while we waited for the third person to join us. Everything was provided to get us under way and Lynne proved a friendly, easygoing teacher with lots of experience and knowledge to share. We didn't realise we were going to do two books, so that was a bonus! Although there were lots of leathers to choose from, I'd have liked a few more colour choices. But that was the only missing ingredient. My friend and I had a wonderful time and were so hooked that we bought a kit to take away. We had no trouble finding a car parking space and the convenience for Chichester or surrounding areas like Bognor or Bosham is outstanding."

Lynne Friel responded:

"Hi Alison, thanks for coming and for your very kind and thoughtful review. I'm heading to the leather merchants soon and will make a note to pick up more brightly coloured leather options. Best wishes Lynne"

Can't believe we all transformed those skinny pieces of wire into garden hares. Very satisfying and thoroughly recommended."

Rich reviewed: Spoon Carving - Sloyd Workshop

"I did this course with Max on Saturday. It was brilliant. Really good fun. Max is a great teacher and very knowledgeable. The day was well structured, the environment is great (like sitting in a forest but whilst actually in an urban garden!) and we got lunch cooked up on the fire pit. As someone with zero creative ability, I came out having hand carved a wooden spoon that I can actually use! Max was really attentive and walked around helping everyone during the course. We were in really good hands all the way through. Recommend to anyone who wants to learn a new skill, would also be pretty good for corporates as a team building activity. It's really collaborative and nice as a group activity"

Sam reviewed: Creative metalwork and welding, scrap metal sculpture.

"This course is great, I've been five times now! Felix and Izzy were excellent teachers, giving enough instruction to feel confident in using all the tools and then enough space to make mistakes and learn, and still end up with something you're happy with at the end of the day. It is a friendly environment, a really good way to experience something totally different to the day to day job."

WTF Workshops responded:

"Hi Sam, thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so happy you enjoyed the course and that you were able to take home a project you were happy with! "
