Diana Douglas reviewed: Ecoprinting with Bookbinding with Earthwise Ecoprints

"An exceptional day. Excellent tuition first and then guidance, as we worked on our own pieces. It was so good to have plenty of useful samples to take home. Fiona was well prepared. She brought a sizeable amount of equipment with her (to Cabus VH) - not just for the steaming but for us to have to work on - under her instruction. I really was very impressed. Such an enjoyable day, tiring yes, but so worthwhile. Thank you, Fiona. You are special and your day was special, too."

Earthwise Ecoprints responded:

"Thank you for your lovely review Diana. It was fabulous to return to teach again in Garstang and the brilliant group made it so special. I am so pleased you enjoyed it and hopefully you can continue to Ecoprint and make more books at home. Looking forward to my return visit next year."

Tina reviewed: Silver jewellery workshop for beginners with Jude Karnon

"I had such a great time at this course. Jude is great teacher and I was able to create a piece exactly how I imagined it (plus some additional ideas from Jude that made it even better :D). I still cannot believe that I did all this and learned so much about jewellery making is such a short period of time! Thank you Jude (and Bluebell <3) for this fun morning of silversmithing! I enjoyed every second of it :) "

Jude Karnon Jewellery responded:

"Hi Tina, thank you so much for your kind words. It was so lovely to meet and work with you and you definitely have the silversmithing talent! You nailed the science bit and made a beautiful gem set ring. I am glad Bluebell was no trouble for you! "

Tina reviewed: Stained glass one day course for beginners: one-to-one

"I had a great time at Emma's workshop! I enjoyed the whole day from learning the basics of cutting glass, foiling and soldering to designing and creating my own piece of stained glass art. I even ended up creating a second tiny piece from my cut offs. There was really no limit to my creativity. Emma is a great teacher and you can feel that she has years of experience both in the craft and in teaching. She also is great at keeping an interesting conversation going, which made the day even more fun! I can recommend this course to anyone who wants to try out the art of stained glass! :) "

Jo reviewed: Pottery throwing sessions on the potter's wheel in Norfolk

"Thoroughly enjoyable session. Pat is a great teacher. We had a good laugh and ended up with several pots that didn't go straight into the chuckit bucket! In the end we both bought a third pot in addition to the two included. Can't wait to see what they look like once they've been fired and glazed. I'd never used a wheel before, and my husband had had one go many years ago. We're definitely thinking of booking another session."

Pat Southwood responded:

"Hi Jo, Thanks for kind words; you both did so well. I will be in touch soon! Pat. "

Laura Wood reviewed: Discovering Spinning on a Drop Spindle

"My first visit to Denmark Farm😁 An amazing experience, I shall definitely be back. Really enjoyed the drop spindle course with Amy of Sheepish Wool 🤗 An excellent tutor, perfectly crafted instruction and delivered to ensure we all mastered our tasks. A very friendly environment, relaxed and safe. Well equipped centre with everything available. I have health issues and was a little nervous but my concerns quickly evaporated. If you are considering a course in Wales, I simply couldn't recommend Denmark Farm, more highly. There is so much more to experience and discover. I met Mara who is a centre, representative. Exceeding welcoming, very knowledgeable and super approachable. 5* 😁"

Denmark Farm Conservation Centre responded:

"Morning Laura, thank you so much for your ever so kind review. It was lovely to meet you and your Mum on Sunday and we are so happy that you enjoyed the drop spindling with Amy. We agree Amy is a fantastic tutor and she will be back soon for a spinning on the wheel course. We hope to see you then if not sooner. With very best wishes. Mara "
