Fiona reviewed: Raw Fleece to...Tuffets: Making Seat Mats / Cushions

"This workshop was thoroughly enjoyable, an in depth look at a technique I’ve wanted to try for ages. Emma is a fabulous teacher, very welcoming, very knowledgeable and very generous at sharing that knowledge and experience. I came away not only with a lovely seat pad which all of my animals have already adopted, but also the information and insight to know what I would do differently next time, and how I might adapt what I’ve learned."

really reviewed: One day stained glass workshop London for beginners and enthusiasts

"I had a brilliant day with Tejal in her really lovely studio learning a number of techniques in order to create a beautiful piece of glass-art. I was able to take the piece I made home with me that day. The day’s workshop was well planned and Tejal was an excellent teacher. She was kind and patient whilst she talked me through the processes - how to cut glass, sand the edges, use solder and form the pieces into a gorgeous hummingbird! Which I absolutely love! I highly recommend this fun and informative day course for beginners with Tejal."

David Johnson reviewed: Router day, how to safely use and maintain a router

"The description of the course was exactly what we got. I left the course feeling confident that I could use a router safely and had good understanding of a variety of techniques and when to use them. The balance between description, demonstration and practice was about right. The small class meant the teacher was able to spend time watching and giving each of us guidance."

Anne-Marie Leaman reviewed: Explore 1 & 2 colour lino cutting and printing in Derbyshire

"I thoroughly enjoyed my day lino printing with Liz. The location is wonderful and her fabulous studio is the perfect place for a lovely experience. Everything is organised beautifully and Liz was a great host. Liz is very professional and has a clear structure to the day. She gently guided us but allowed us to develop our own ideas and techniques! I am delighted with what I managed to produce and Liz gave us many ideas about how to develop our prints further at home. There was also plenty of information available about where to source materials and we were able to try out different cutters and blocks. Most importantly it was a lovely, creative experience with lots of positivity and happy vibes. Thank you, Liz, for a very memorable day. "

Liz Wellby - Artist, Teacher & Maker responded:

"Hi Anne-Marie, Wow! Thank you so much for your kind words - I’m stunned. It was a pleasure meeting and working with you and I’m so pleased that you had such a positive and successful day here. You created a beautiful range of prints, with lots of potential to continue developing at home. It’s such a great process, that I hope you’ll have further time to explore. Looking forward to working with again, later in the year. Best wishes and happy printing. Liz Wellby "

Ness reviewed: Introduction to Epoxy Resin Block Casting

"We really enjoyed this course. David made us feel very at ease. We were late, and I had an allergy that meant I couldn't wear the normal gloves and he took this in his stride and was very kind. He is massively knowledgeable about resin and was able to apply his knowledge to my partner's interest. The session felt friendly throughout whilst also being safe and informative. It can be daunting trying something new, as you inevitably go wrong and David was happy to talk though common errors and how to overcome them and helped us when we went wrong in the session. We really enjoyed it and can't wait to see our blocks."

Hand forged Yorkshire responded:

"Many thanks indeed for your very kind review Ness, I really appreciate it. I’m so pleased you both enjoyed the day and found it informative. Really great to meet you both and have you in the workshop. Cracking job with your designs, they look fantastic! Kindest regards Dave"
