Found it both mesmerising and soothing, making glass beads, with such pretty results, despite this being my very first try. Jade has a very relaxed teaching style and the workshop is very relaxed which all meant that I was relaxed and I really enjoyed making something that looked like it was meant to!😀 Both Jade and Ian were so welcoming and I cannot recommend them highly enough. "Thank you for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. Neither of us had done lamp glass bead making so it really was learning something new. Jade is so patient and guided us through techniques to make an array of beautiful beads. I even managed to develop my own Mr Whippy technique, which added to the unique design. We left with some gorgeous beads, for keyrings, necklaces, and sea 🌊 pendant. Thank you to Ian, you are a great team and we will be back."

"Great fun! Would highly recommend. As only 2 in the class you get lots of attention from the tutor. The bead making process is mesmerising and some what addictive. Tried lots of different techniques. Made several glass beads and came away lots of necklaces, a bracelet and a pair of earrings. I will definitely be coming back for another go!"

"Fantastic half-day workshop learning how to make glass beads. Jade is a lovely teacher, she explained and demonstrated the techniques clearly. I really enjoyed learning the basic technique and then trying various embellishments (using frit, bubbles, swirls). Amazed how many techniques I got to try in the session and delighted with my beads 😊 Totally recommend!"

"Jade greeted me warmly at the door and let me through to her home studio where we discussed what I wanted to try making. A clear demo followed and help along with tea was provided when needed. I really enjoyed the three hours, it went by very quickly and I look forward to seeing my efforts!"

"What a lovely way to spend three hours! Jade is a great teacher and I came away with a handful of beads that I was really pleased with - I can see how easily this could become addictive! This class is highly recommended for anyone who wants to try their hand at something new in a very friendly atmosphere, and perhaps surprise themselves with what they can make. And the tea was great too!"

"Such a great time was had by by both of us, so interesting to play with molten glass and a relatively easy technique to learn. We were able to produce some lovely beads but not as good as the wonderful ones made by our great tutor!"
