Dale reviewed: One day stained glass workshop London for beginners and enthusiasts

"This class was our first time ever working with stained glass and Tejal made it very approachable, friendly and fun! The classes are limited to 2 people which provides a great learning environment and lots of individual attention. Tejal is very supportive and encouraging, and we both finished projects we are proud of. We highly recommend for anyone interested in an introduction or refresher on stained glass making! Thank you Tejal for a wonderful day of learning and fun! "

Jamila Pennycook reviewed: Epoxy Resin Art Masterclass: Seascapes

"I really enjoyed this course; it was relaxing and well-paced. The materials are all included in the price (which helps!), and the class is not overcrowded so you get a fair shot at asking the facilitator questions. There was a slight mishap with my communications (I was sent communication that stipulated the wrong time). I really wanted to attend the class so I stayed in the area for a few hours, which thankfully had some interesting spots to hangout (namely the Arts Cafe by the river). It was an awesome day weather-wise so certainly wasn’t wasted. Upon finding out the mishap, Richard (the facilitator) was very apologetic and as compensation allowed me to upgrade the course free of charge. It was certainly nice to have that customer care, and I really appreciated the opportunity. I would certainly attend another course. Fantastic workshop environment, well organised, and instructions were clear. "

Imogen reviewed: 2024 Calligraphy Workshops in North Essex

"Another super day course with Julie! I met some lovely people. The classes are small so you get plenty of help and advice from Julie to help develop your skills. The atmosphere in the class is a relaxed and positive one. The fact that equipment is provided when you first start is a real bonus . I am hooked on calligraphy after two day courses - which absolutely flew by - and am really looking forward to the next one I attend! Julie is friendly, welcoming, approachable and a really great teacher - so positive and constructive with her advice on how to improve skills. I am a complete novice but also saw how she worked with the very experienced people in the group, whose work was very impressive and gives a newbie something to aim for! I cannot recommend this course highly enough. Thank you for a fantastic day Julie!"

Julie Chaney responded:

"It was a real pleasure having you in the class, Imogen! You made great progress on your second session, largely due to your enthusiasm to improve and then working hard to do better. Thank you so much for this wonderfully positive review. It requires some effort to write such full feedback and I am grateful to you for taking the time to do that and for your compliments on all aspects of the day. Your comments will be much appreciated by potential students, I am sure. Again, thank you."

"This was a lovely fun evening. Firstly we took a short walk through the sunflowers, then Heather gave us a drink before we settled down to paint under her steady paced guidance and tuition. "This course is ideal if you want to learn how to use resin as a medium. Jan is excellent at explaining what you need to do and also how to use the product safely. Jan has an amazing collection of moulds - I was like a kid in the sweet shop. No doubt be back to do some more. This is the fifth course I have done with Jan and always come away having enjoyed the session and learnt something. Thanks Jan. "

Rebecca reviewed: Design & make your own wall clock!

"I had such a great time doing this course! Bertie is very experienced and knowledgeable and offered lots of support, ideas and guidance - I personally had no experience whatsoever working with wood! I really enjoyed learning about the different finishes and I added some gold leaf touches to my clock. It's amazing how we all started from the same amount of blocks but ended up with completely different pieces by the end of the day. Having lunch sitting by the Thames was an added bonus! Super special and highly recommended."

Bertram Whitford Furniture responded:

"That's so lovely to hear Rebecca, thanks so much for coming along and making a wonderful clock! "
