I had no idea how to felt before taking the class, it's very easy to learn and Judi gently guides you through the process which makes it thoroughly enjoyable."

Natalia Samuel reviewed: Crochet - beginner level

"I attended the crochet classes at Knithub 24. First of all, I just want to say that I love their studio - such a cool place to learn! I also liked the fact that we had 3 classes in a row, so I could go home and practice what I had learnt and then could ask any questions at the next class. I thought that was useful. In general, I thought the class was really fun and inspiring. I feel ready to tackle some crochet projects on my own."

Knithub 24 responded:

"Thank you so much Natalia for your wonderful review! We hope to see you again soon. Warm wishes, Knithub 24 Team"

Susan Crumpler reviewed: Willow Bird Feeders in Warwickshire

"Feeling all festive now that I have my stars up after our afternoon willow weaving the Christmas stars. Really enjoyed the afternoon, it was so relaxing and a lovely venue. I felt really chilled (as in relaxed!) all afternoon. Christina was an excellent hostess and guide and I got the hang of it no problem. I've even done 3 more stars and 2 little Christmas trees at home which I have never been able to try before. A previous willow sculpture course by a different provider, was very intense and I didn't try it again at home, but Christina has definitely de-mystified it and left me happy to experiment. Look forward to booking another session in 2020."

Oliver Foulds reviewed: Box or tub making

"I have just finished my second training course with Nigel and once again I had a fantastic day! Before the course I was concerned that the combination of things I wanted to learn and ask advice on was a bit scattered but Nigel was quick to determine exactly what I was after and tie them seamlessly into a well-structured day-long lesson. Once again I was impressed with Nigel's patience, positivity and mastery of the craft. If you are looking to further your skills in leatherwork and pick up some new techniques then really is no substitute for training of this quality. I left the workshop with greater confidence and a new dimension and direction to my leatherwork. Thank you Nigel - I'll be back for more!"

Marjie Clarke reviewed: Weekly Art Classes with Julie Sajous

"Where did that year go!? They say time flies when you're enjoying yourself, but all the better whilst learning, experimenting, visualising and much, much more. Having tried other tutors I have settled nicely into Julie's classes/course and wish I'd found her a lot sooner! I am not an artist by a long chalk but Julie's teaching gives confidence and fortitude along with lots of encouragement. Each week has a topic that gives you insight into a style of sketching, painting, how to implement genres (both tools and style). Guided by Julie's professional, friendly manner I apply my unconversant abilities and am amazed with the resulting pieces of work. Julie is an inspiration!"

Phil Sutcliffe reviewed: Willow Ethical Trophy Stag Head sculpture course with Joe Gregory at Creative with Nature Todmorden, West Yorkshire

"Both my granddaughter and I loved our day with Joe. Joe warned us that willow weaving can be addictive and she was not wrong. We are already looking to book on more courses with Joe next year. Thanks to Joe’s expertise, her excellent instructions, her patience and her enthusiasm; we were able to make 5 different products. This course is probably the best value course on here."

Creative with Nature Ltd responded:

"lovely review! thanks Phil. really glad you both had a good day: ) joe. xxx"

Cathy reviewed: Stained glass weekly classes in Sheffield (South Yorkshire)

"This is my third year doing Martin's course. I did a large Tiffany piece earlier in the year and managed to damage about 20 of the glass pieces. So this term I have spent learning restoration skills and have thoroughly enjoyed it. My overall skills with stained glass have improved and I understand a lot more about the process. Both Martin and Kate are excellent teachers and very patient. I can't recommend them highly enough."

"I really enjoyed the course. Claire is a supportive, calm and enthusiastic teacher. She was very well prepared and everything you need is provided including as much tea, coffee and cake as you want! Despite not being artistic I came away very satisfied with a set of prints I really like and an enthusiasm to do more linocutting. A really pleasurable experience."

Duncan Shannon reviewed: Firebird Forge Blacksmithing School

"Had a superb day with Mort. I went along with a friend and Mort was really supportive in our choice of what we wanted to create. He set the perfect balance between allowing us to succeed using the skills he had taught us and stepping in to assist, before our frustration or the potential self destruction of our work took hold! He is obviously a master craftsman that makes everything look so frustratingly easy. His patience and knowledge is first class I would whole heartedly recommend his teaching days to any budding blacksmith. Thanks again Mort."

John Bloodworth reviewed: MHBB

"Although I am new to the area I found The Old Printing Works easily. Marion provided a warm welcome and her tuition was easy to understand and follow. The group was well sized so that Marion could offer individual support for those that needed it and she kept the group moving along at a good pace so that we all went away with a complete creation."

Gary Wilson reviewed: Stained glass weekly classes in Sheffield (South Yorkshire)

"Attended the Wednesday morning course consisting of ten weeks. This was my third course with Martin and this time I wanted to push myself with a leaded glass window. Martin is able to get round the small group giving advice and demonstrating techniques to build up you knowledge of stained glass art. I cannot praise Martin enough for the way he builds up your skill levels through structured projects before assisting you with your first design. If you are interested in giving stained glass a try, contact Martin you will soon be hooked."

Andy reviewed: Beginners leatherwork class

"My mother and I were met at the entrance of the building and taken to the workshop. Tamar is very personable and put us at ease instantly. We were asked if we would like a drink and a biscuit as we settled at our space and then talked through the stages of the class and additional housekeeping like being shown where the toilets were if we required them. We started by choosing the colour of leather, thread and poppers we wanted to use and then we got started. The class comprised of demonstrations by Tamar at every stage, with information about the different tools, what they did and answers to any further questions we had. Tamar provided 1:1 support whenever we needed it and the group gelled nicely talking about other classes we had all done previously. Tamar was very good at genuinely praising everyone's progress and final products. Compared to other classes I have done I felt well supported and that the person running the class cared about the people there. Tamar made sure we enjoyed the experience. She shared something she loves doing and teaching, in the hope that we love it too. Sincere thanks Tamar, I would not hesitate to recommend you to others seeking a first-class experience of a new craft that is not only superb value for money but an excellent learning experience."

The City Workshop Edinburgh responded:

"Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. It was a pleasure to welcome you to a leatherwork class and I'm delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the experience. Enjoy using your beautiful leather case and I hope to welcome you back again for another class in the future."
