Maker's bio

Fake Food Workshop is a creative studio and store dedicated to the art of faux food. Based in the artist town of Kirkcudbright, we are the only store of our kind in the UK, showcasing sculpted food creations that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Founded by award-winning sculptor Kerry Samantha Boyes, our work is commissioned by museums, historic venues, and the film and television industry worldwide. Every piece is designed with precision and an eye for detail, echoing a deep respect for culinary and artistic heritage. Now, for the first time, we are opening our studio doors to offer workshops for adults, inviting students to learn the skills behind our lifelike, sculpted foods in an inspiring and welcoming environment.
