Lynn & Steve reviewed: Bespoke Interlined Curtains

"As the first husband and wife team to attend one of Janet's courses, we tried not to be competitive. We had a great day. Janet was welcoming and provided refreshments throughout the day (with a very tasty lunch!). We were learning about interlined blinds and thoroughly enjoyed it. We have full instructions to come home with and we could add notes in as we went if we wanted to. We also went through all the health and safety rules relating to blinds.... who knew?? Janet was very good at explaining and showing us what we needed to do and we have both come home with a sample handmade under supervision."

Maggie Lighten reviewed: Introduction to Lino Printing in Cambridgeshire

"It was third time lucky for me, but well worth the wait. Everything throughout the day was thought out and planned to suit everyone on the course. Judith was very encouraging and helpful at each step of the way. The workspace was light and airy with Covid precautions adhered to. I came away having learnt a lot and achieved more than expectations. I took home plenty of prints and enthusiasm to do more. Judith was a brilliant host, plenty of drinks and biscuits throughout the day and cake before leaving. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone, no previous experience needed. You'll come away with plenty of prints to be proud of."

print paper stitch experiences responded:

"Thank you very much Maggie, that's a lovely review. It was a pleasure to meet and work with you. I hope you continue with your printing and I'd love to see some pics if you do! All the best Judith"

"Thoroughly enjoyed this workshop, thrilled with my finished pouch. Wendy and Clive are excellent tutors - friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Small class sizes mean everyone gets attention and individual help if needed. I hope to return and do the bag-making workshop later this year. An added bonus is the setting - light airy room with lovely views across the countryside. Exceptionally Covid-safe too."

Catherine Browning reviewed: Introduction to candle making workshop

"Thank you to Pauline and Olga for being so welcoming. I missed craft lessons very much during lockdown and was very excited about finally being able to sit down and learn something new face to face rather than online. My expectations were exceeded by the excellent teaching from Pauline and the fabulous cake and coffee from Olga. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and I am looking forward to returning in June for part 2. See you then x"

Bonita Candles responded:

Pam Bailey reviewed: Beginners Epoxy Resin Workshop

"I attended this course on May 15th. I have been interested in resin craft for a while and thought this would be a good introduction to learn the basics. Richard was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the course. There was a lot of information to absorb on the day and because the class was quite large I couldn't quite grasp the working out of the measurements (parts of resin to parts of hardener) although Richard did sort it out on his calculator. I wish I had separated the resin in to more cups. I had used two cups but when pouring the two mixtures in to the mould they ended up mixing together so didn't really show separate colours. I did enjoy the course but wish there would have been more tips on how to get the different shades and effects that you see in most resin products."

Lee reviewed: Half day glass fusing for beginners/intermediate

"We had a great 1/2 day course with Nicky. She was very friendly and welcoming. She provided good tuition and gave us an indication of what was achievable in the time. The workshop was well stocked and has plenty of differnt coloured glass. Examples were displayed and what sort of effects different techniques would have. We went with some ideas in our heads which Nicky then helped us to achieve. The results from our first attempt were very rewarding. We would definitely go back and try more now that we know what is achievable. I would definitely recommend this course."

Clorinda reviewed: Torso / Figure Sculpture in clay: 1 day course from life

"This was a well organised and thought out day, with lots of little touches to make us feel welcome. Poppy is an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. She helped me look much harder at what I was doing, and has hopefully moved me on a bit. The model was lovely, and very still for the designated pose periods, with regular breaks in between. Nice to have lunch in a separate room out of the studio. Lots of interesting and beautiful things to inspire you up in the studio itself. Hope to return for another course a bit later this year. It is quite an intensive day, and I was worn out by the time I got home! A big thank you!"

Donna Freeman reviewed: Abstract Art Workshop with Jo Garden Art in a beautiful rural Norfolk/Suffolk border setting

"I had the best day with Jo last week. I am definitely not an 'artist' and wondered what I'd be able to create, but at the end of the day I left with two very personal pieces of artwork that I absolutely love. It was such a fun, well organised day with the perfect amount of help and guidance. Jo is so good at what she does and the time flew by. If you're reading this review to make your mind up about the course, I would say definitely do it. You won't regret it :)"

Jo Garden Art responded:

"Thank you Donna! You balanced your two pieces of work so well against the idea you had when you arrived - really lovely ;-) So glad you enjoyed the day. Jo x"
