Carolyn reviewed: Resin and Wood Beginner Class

"We attended this course to learn more about deep resin pouring before we start a larger project. Alex gave very clear instructions for us to make a mould for the wood to sit in prior to pouring the resin and how to calculate how much resin to use - particularly useful for us since this was the first time for us and the process held some surprises. The room can only take 4 people really so that was a good thing since Alex had the time to look at and check our efforts before the crucial pour. Only downside comment would be that the beginners basic board is small - A4 size whereas the larger size (which requires an extra payment) was much better - closer to 30 cm by 40 cm but costs £60 more which is quite a lot. We are very excited to see how our boards turned out. Hopefully we'll be getting them sometime this week after Alex has finished them off by sanding down edges/resin overflows etc. "

Blueprint Woodcraft responded:

"Dear Carolyn Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the board-making class! I appreciate your comments about the beginners class and understand that the size of the board may not have met your expectations. We aim to provide clear and detailed information about all our class options on our website. Based on your review, we’ve updated the descriptions to ensure they are even more transparent and easy to understand. I’m sorry to hear that the cost of the upgrade felt significant. Our goal is to offer high-quality experiences across a range of price points, and we encourage clients to review the details thoroughly to make an informed choice. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts; they help us improve. If you have any further suggestions or if there's anything else I can assist you with, please feel free to reach out. I absolutely loved learning the techniques and steps involved in making the beautiful pieces of jewelry that I brought home. The rural setting and the good company made this exeperience truly unique. I Highly recommend the course!!"
