A great value course with excellent one-to-one tuition and a straight forward approach to explaining and demonstrating the necessary techniques. Really good fun all round and great to have another guitar to add to my collection at the end of the day! Highly recommended!"

Lucy reviewed: 1-to-1 Beginners Leatherworking Workshop

"Highly, highly recommended, I had an absolutely brilliant day with Pipa! She is a talented leatherworker but she is also a fantastic teacher. She pays a lot of attention to her students' individual needs and knows how to adapt to work with different approaches, different ergonomic setups etc.. (As an aside, she managed to solve the 33-year puzzle of why I write "funny"!!) I went in a total beginner and I've come out desperate to get my hands on some more leather. Job done!"

Sara Westwood reviewed: Mosaic wall hangings using vintage and retro china

"Very enjoyable day spent with Wendy who prepared materials for each student attending (6). It is worth making sure you have a design to do before attending and making sure Wendy can then cut the board to size. She is a very patient teacher and is expert at what she does. The majority of us completed our project in 7 hours with grouting being done at home using the grouting supplied to us. "

"Found this an interesting course, attended with my 12 year old daughter, what I found most importantly was that everyone was given encouragement and reassurance and that although we were all working from the same piece, every single drawing including the artist was completely individual interpretation and style, utilising the same skills and techniques we were being taught"

Lou Collis reviewed: Stone Carving ' Portraits, shapes & Characters '

"We booked this course as a last min Christmas present to ourselves. We thought it would be a fun experience and give us a taste of stone carving to see if it was something we would like to pursue. We were not disappointed. Kezia was a great tutor providing support and suggestions even if our pictures seemed a bit ambitious for a first try. Her friendly, relaxed approach and guidance made the whole day a pleasant experience and showed us that even when we doubted our ability there was a way to work though the challenge. Kezia made sure her time was equally shared with 1:1 time with each participant without leaving others feeling left out, but giving just to right amount of free time to be getting on with your project. All in all a great day and it was lovely to meet Isla the dog too. Would recommend this course and tutor and will probably go again ourselves."
