Emma reviewed: Beginners spoon carving

"I spent the day making a spoon with Nick. We had an amazing day, sitting in the garden, a we all succeeded in making a spoon. It was such a magical day, in beautiful setting, and Nick is a great teacher. We were all able to work at our own pace, and getting familiar with new equipment. Nick and his lovely wife looked after us all so well. I can't fault a single thing. I came away late in the afternoon, tired and so happy. If you want something that lets you clear your mind and feel connected to what you're doing in the moment, I can't sing its praises enough. I'll be coming back as soon as I can"

Flora Harrap reviewed: Introduction to MIG welding and metal fabrication for artists, Diy'ers and furniture makers

"I really enjoyed my day with Conan in his workshop. The hands on approach to the day is brilliant to build up one’s confidence in MIG welding. Conan was really helpful offering his guidance and advice. He even lit the forge so that we could hand forge some of our pieces before welding them together. I made a jellyfish and am very proud of my finished piece! A truly impressive and creative day which made me very happy! I am going to buy a welder now and before I left Conan talked me through how to set it all up by myself and which welder I should go for. He is a true enthusiast and I would highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to build their confidence in MIG welding. "
