"My son and I had an amazing and memorable day with Chris attending his blacksmith course. Chris is a fantastic teacher and person, explaining his craft as he took us through the process step by step. By the end of the day we each crafted a Viking style letter opener which now sits proudly on display at home. I highly recommend it."

Rosina Tubb reviewed: Gilding on Glass

"One of my favourite workshops because it is unique and great fun and Estitxu is charming and welcoming. My Husband and I enjoyed learning various techniques with and without stencils. Estitxu is very experienced and is able to impart her knowledge with great patience and able adapt to each individual giving her full attention to each of us. I brought some stencils from my craft stash to use in some of my designs and experimented with both metal and plastic ones, although she has loads of plastic ones in the studio. Be prepared to get messy and enjoy yourself. We were given refreshments and well looked after. She gave me materials to take home to finish my fabulous artwork. "

Liz reviewed: Wet Felted Seascapes and Landscapes - Mountsorrel

"We had a fabulous day, Karen made us very welcome, inspired us, explained and demonstrated, with a wealth of materials, offering advice and giving us tips as we went along which you don't get with a kit. I'm amazed at how much we achieved - a (nearly) finished piece which I am very pleased with. Now it's dry I will add some needle felt details to highlight one or two features."

Karen Stewart Textiles responded:

"Thank you very much Liz. I really enjoyed the day too and thought you both produced excellent results! Do send a photo of your needle felted picture, I'd love to see the finished result. As we discussed, there are several ways of adding more detail to a wet felted picture, from needle felting to machine or hand embroidery. I hope to run 2-day courses in the future which involve these."

Petra Stapp reviewed: Basket making for beginners using traditional willow basketry techniques

"Just an amazing day! Becky and Johnny were everywhere solving our confusion with amazing patience, and they are both real people persons. Great food, so book the lunch if you can. Lovely work space in the barn. Johnny's music taste is perfect :) It's hard work though so be prepared to be shattered and a bit sore from thumbing willow all day. We went home with our lovely baskets and the cat has moved into one already. I didn't think I could produce something so beautiful. Thanks "
