"I received this cold process making course as a Christmas gift and what a fabulous gift this was. Julie’s course was well thought out, personal and a lovely way of spending a rainy morning. The whole process was explained and demonstrated, with support given throughout your own practical time. Julie shared some excellent top tips, and showed us how to finish our creations with beautifully simple packaging. The afternoon tea was simply divine and there was some left over to take home. I’d highly recommend any of the courses Julie provides as she shows you how to learn a new skill in such a supportive and fun way. We had lots of laughter and found a creative way to spend a rainy day."

"Had a brilliant day down at the Greenwood Music CIC site. Lovely bit of woodland with a mixed variety of species to learn about. Phil answered all of our questions with ease making the day roll seamlessly. We covered some coppice practical, learnt about various craft, had communal food round the fire which is always great. The set up they have meant the December weather wasn't an issue. Great experience and value for money."

However, Lyndsey tried her utmost to make sure the craft kit would arrive on time and ended up sending a second kit by another courier. "My wife and I have just enjoyed the most amazing experience with Ernie on a full day's oil painting course, in his lovely studio. Ernie was recommended to us by a friend and whilst it was some way for us to get to Cambridge, to say it was well worth the trip and the overnight stay is an understatement! Ernie could not have been more welcoming when we arrived, and after the initial introductions, we were introduced to the studio, which provided the perfect setting for a great days art. The lighting was perfect, it was warm and comfortable, with gentle music playing in the background, which was very relaxing...a bit like Ernie himself, laid back and relaxed and yet totally inspiring 😉 We have been on a fair few art courses, but never tried oils before. Ernie explained things brilliantly, and he was also very patient with us - no matter how many questions we threw at him! lol. Nothing was too much trouble, which also really helps to put you at ease. He went through the basics with us, as well as progressively more advanced techniques throughout the day, including drawing techniques, form, perspective, mixing of colours and various brush strokes to name but a few. To our amazement we advanced so quickly with Ernie's expert tuition (which was the best we had ever experienced), that by the end of the day, we had both managed to produce two really good standard oil paintings that we would proudly hang in our home. The paintings were great, but it was the whole experience that made it such an amazing and rewarding day. If you are really lucky, you may even meet the lovely Simone, Ernie's wife who kindly prepared a delicious lunch for us as well. Super lovely people, great tuition, good quality and generous quantities of art materials supplied, a lovely lunch included and somehow, 2 oil paintings by the end of the day. Ernie, thank you for one of the best days out we can remember! Awesome and to anyone else tempted to have a day with Ernie, don't hesitate!! He really is AMAZING at what he does 🙂"

"An absolutely awesome experience !! Having always wanted to have a crack on a lathe this was a brillaint xmas present from my partner. Simon and Louise are such lovely people and immediately put you at ease upon arrival. In a beautiful setting and great workshop. Simon was extremely patient, knowledgeable and an incredible teacher. He covered all aspects from setup to completing a project in a very easy to follow way and makes you feel totally confident and comfortable in the environment. We had a delicious farm style lunch in there home kitchen and completed a second project in the afternoon. I could not recommend this enough to anyone and will be returning for a second course in the New Year. Amazing job guys ! Keep up the great work !! "

The group is small enough so that everyone gets the help they need to craft their own piece of jewellery and Pat is an amazing teacher. The range of beads available is fantastic with every shape, colour and size of bead possible! I would definitely be up for joining this course again!"
