"What a great day! I had doubts whether one day would be sufficient for this, but I came away feeling confident that I can now buy my own small loom and get weaving. Anne is a brilliant teacher who covered everything we needed to know at what for me was exactly the right pace. A group of six seemed perfect and we all had lots of individual help. It felt like a bonus that we all came away with a lovely finished scarf! I do think this is something you need to learn face-to-face rather than on-line. Highly recommended! Thanks Anne!"

"I would certainly recommend this workshop. Julia was knowledgeable, supportive and friendly. I felt like I really benefited from the experience whilst also thoroughly enjoying myself. I’ve learned a lot about the different choices of acrylic, brushes, and materials, which I will take into my teaching practice. The course was well stocked and gave the students so much to choose from, that leant itself to unlimited creativity. Julia gave me lots of advice and inspiration. "Excellent hurdle making course. Really well prepared, planned and taught. With two tutors there was plenty of attention and help. I had to leave early because of the hot weather but this in no way stopped me enjoying the course and I came away with exactly what I wanted. Lovely lunch, great conversation and really appropriate surroundings. Could you arrange other courses such as willow sculptures, garden supports, pizza oven making, rustic chair making, pewter casting in cuttlefish, etc..? I am sure there would be a demand. Thank you."

"It was the loveliest craft course I’ve ever done! Marie-Paul was really kind and explained everything in a way that made it easy to understand even if it was my first time doing mosaic. We got to pick between a big selection of things we could do, or if we had an idea before coming she helped us adapt it so we could finish in time. I covered a flower pot with mosaic but others chose a wooden canvas, or there was also a mirror. The tools were easy to use and the tiles absolutely gorgeous and every colour was available. She helped us when we got a little short on time to make sure we could finish in time and take our mosaic home. 12/10 will come back again!! "

"Fabulous day - thank you! Kate was a great tutor - she kept the pace of the course flowing and also gave everyone enough time to make a wonderful collection of flowers. Kate was hands on where help was needed/wanted, but also allowed everyone to work independently to create their own pieces. The studio and the location are great - we all had a great day!"

"This was such an enjoyable course. The setting, in the middle of a wood away from the sounds of civilization, was so peaceful. Suz was very patient and demonstrated each stage of the process so that we could follow. I made a basket, not at all perfect, but a very passable basket in the end. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for something a bit different. "

With a small class of only 2 of us if we ever needed help she was right there, and I came away with a really beautiful stained glass piece to say I had never done it before. Thank you for the great introduction to stained glass. Right below the studio was also the cafe for lunch - the panini and brownie were amazing! I would definitely recommend."

This is a great day and a great experience and I'm well pleased with the build - it is so satisfying to turn a plain metal bar into something completely different with your own hands.
