"Geraint was a friendly and positive tutor. We wasted no time getting on with our projects, and I was very pleased with my finished hedgehog. My husband did the ammonite which looked very professional and was a beautiful finished object. Help was on hand when we were struggling. The course does involve standing from 10am to 4pm with only short breaks for coffee/lunch, so this needs to be born in mind. Having said that, Snowshill is a beautiful venue in warmer weather. We had cover from the rain on day 2, but the ground was damp."

"Three friends joined this course & enjoyed learning the process of creating something unique & beautiful. Anna was really friendly & knowledgeable. It did at times feel her time with each participant was spread a bit thin, which was a shame, but overall a great day."

"Ruth was a calm and patient teacher with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Working with blobs of molten glass was way out of my comfort zone but Ruth introduced the techniques slowly, incrementally and safely. I chose the style of beads and glass colour, and I successfuĺy made eight beads. A tasty home made lunch was included. I enjoyed my day and I thoroughly recommend this course."

Jo is the friendliest and most helpful of teachers with her own baking treats thrown in too. Buzzing after this course and I would highly recommend! "

"I was lucky enough to be given a day of painting at 'Art in the Barn' as a belated Christmas present from one of my daughters and all I can say is that it was absolutely lovely from start to finish! We were there just over a week ago and found the studio full of natural light and equipped to a high standard. Each trestle table provided had all the equipment we would need for the day and more. We had chosen to do a day of painting garden flowers using mixed media. As I really enjoy using just watercolours, this was a great introduction to trying other mediums. We were encouraged to try everything provided on different paper while keeping our energy levels up with home cooked brownies and freshly made coffee! In all it was a great day out and has inspired us to be more bold and creative in our painting . I loved it all! Thank you so much Alison."

"Emma ran an excellent course. She was extremely accommodating to find a date that suited me and my family members to be able to attend to celebrate my birthday. She was very generous with her time and materials, allowing us to stay an extra 1/2 hr as we hadn't quite finished. At the end she also very kindly gave me a gift, so as to be able to continue doing some felting at home. I would highly recommend Emma's course, which is located in a lovely studio at the end of her garden. To anyone who is interested in trying a different craft; nothing is too much trouble for Emma and we all had a great time."

"Loved the course. Really good project set so that you could learn a great deal and finish the piece. Geraint was very attentive to everyone throughout. There was no mention beforehand that the course was held outside. It wasn’t a problem but would have been helpful to know in advance as it was quite damp and we would have worn different shoes and brought along a coat. "

I took along a small chair and had fun stripping it right back to the frame discovering along the way the layers of different covers and materials that made up the history of the chair. Sarah is an extremely good teacher, passing on her knowledge and skill in an easy, relaxed way. Altogether a really super fun day that I would thoroughly recommend. "
