"I had a fantastic time during this course. It was an enriching experience for me. I joined with no prior knowledge, but I left with three beautifully crafted fascinators that I made myself. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and it felt like we were all old friends, readily offering help when needed. I'm eagerly anticipating the second part of this course and can't wait to attend again."

A.Douglas reviewed: Beginner's Spinning in Newcastle

"I really enjoyed this course which I undertook today (29/9/23). Kate is really knowledgeable and keen to pass on that information to her participants. There is sooo much to learn I was supported and guided through each step of the process and patiently assisted when it went wrong - which was frequently. I left with a skein of my own spun yarn!. I would highly recommend this course. Don't be nervous-have a go"

Lazykate Textiles responded:

"Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the day and felt you learnt so much. Really looking forward to seeing what you make in the future on your own wheel Happy spinning Cathy"

Susan Elllams reviewed: "2 Crafts in 1 Day!" pairs - woodturning & pottery experience

"My husband booked this for us for a surprise for our anniversary and I was not disappointed. We did the wood turning first which was well explained and we got to take home our honey dibber creations. We then had lunch in the kitchen which was delicious. The afternoon was a mixture of pinch pots, slab building and using the wheel. It was fun and in a couple of weeks we will see our creations when they will be posted back to us. We would recommend this course as Simon and Louise were wonderful tutors and explained all of the elements before we got hands on. 5 stars"

"A really hands on experience. Stephen was very knowledgeable and supportive. He clearly explained every stage in detail and regularly reinforced different stages. He kept examples simple and easy to follow, while being encouraging and helpful in explaining different techniques. A really good experience, very enjoyable and therapeutic. Kevin & Chrissy reviewed: Nuno, two person felted scarf course

"We had a great day being taught wet felting techniques by Jo for making pictures. We had originally booked the Nuno scarf course but when we saw the examples of artwork that wet felting could achieve we asked Jo if the day could be changed. It was our wedding anniversary and we thought it would be nice to each produce a memento of the day. Jo also thought this was a nice idea. We both found Jo to be a great teacher. Jo mentioned that she offers family sessions and we could see that anyone with young children would love it; especially the part where you start wetting and soaping the felt :-) We had a thoroughly enjoyable day with Jo. Highly recommended."

Phinefibre responded:

"Lovely to meet you both and thank you for choosing to celebrate your anniversary making wet felted pictures in Hebden Bridge. Such a lovely idea to celebrate by travelling to a new area and trying out a new craft each year. Your review is very much appreciated. "

Irene Bennett reviewed: Fused glass Xmas trees

"I've done the fused glass Christmas decorations for the last few years. They look beautiful on the Christmas tree, hanging on the windows or on a white twig tree with fairy lights. It's not difficult to do, it allows you to be creative, and to colour coordinate with your personal theme. It's very satisfying to design and create your own little treasure. Loved doing it. "

Crafty Diane Gift Shop, Art Gallery and Craft workshops responded:

"Thanks Irene much for such a lovely review. You have become very skilled over the years and produced some stunning pieces for your home :) "
