Dawn Malone reviewed: Natural skincare product-making workshop with aromatherapy

"I had a lovely 2 hours with 5 other ladies (who I did not know, I came alone) who were all so nice and friendly, we were chatting within minutes, Lisa gave us some really interesting information about essential oils and home made products and we made 3 of Lisa's recipes to take home with us. This would make a lovely gift for a friend or family member."

Dan reviewed: Pottery throwing day for two in the South Downs National Park

"What an amazing day. Spent the morning with Rowena learning about throwing pots and hands on pot turning for my wife and I. The afternoon was spent creating a dish with rolled clay and decorating it. I would highly recommend this as either an experience to try something different, a way to spend more time with a loved one, or as a taster for a new hobby. Rowena was a great teacher also which made the day all the more interesting. We even get to keep our pots once they have dried out and been glazed. "

Robin Loveland reviewed: Make a Welsh stick chair

"What a fabulous week. Hidden away in our forest glade in a beautiful corner of very rural Wales, I couldn’t believe that the pile of freshly felled timber could be split , axed, shaved and bent into the beautiful traditional chair that I proudly took home a week later. The company was excellent, a great feeling of camaraderie and mutual support supervised at all time by the highly skilled, knowledgeable and ever patient Ben. The work room under canvas, with the ever present fire burning (there are a lot of off cuts!), learning how to, and then using hand tools, was a wonderful and peaceful, but highly industrious enclave. A great week with a great tutor! (and a lovely chair!!) Highly recommended! "

He learned a lot and said that Nigel was an excellent teacher with masses of knowledge and interesting anecdotes. The items he made are lovely 😊 Our stay in the shepherd's huts was magical. Cosy, well-equipped and utterly peaceful. We are already planning when we can do another course and stay! "

Dawn Healy reviewed: Ceramic Garden Seed Head and flower Ornaments - Emma Godden Ceramics

"This course was fabulous from start to finish. My friend and I joined another four people so we were a small friendly group of six. We all said what a great course this was. Having never done anything like this before my friend and I decided to try something different and we were so pleased we did. We traveled from Derbyshire to do it so we had to make a long weekend of it and it was definitely worth it. Emma was professional, put everyone at ease while having fun too. I would recommend this course to anyone as by the end we all felt immensely proud of our achievements. I can’t wait to see the end result when Emma posts them out to us. Thank you again Emma, we may well be back. 😀"

I will be in touch soon once they’ve been fired and will get them in the post to you. Best wishes, Emma "
