Louise J reviewed: Christmas Sock Knitting Workshop with West Yorkshire Spinners’ Xmas Special Yarns - York

"As a knitter who has not ventured into complex projects, the in person course has given me the confidence to knit socks on four needles, with the dexterity and shaping - thinking in three dimensions - that requires. The teacher was able to address the problems we all encountered, not having done this before, offering advice and encouragement. I don't think you can get this from on line teaching. "

Duttons for Buttons responded:

"Hi Louise, so pleased you enjoyed the workshop and as a result have got to grips with the complexities of four needle knitting - an achievement to be truly proud of! Look out for more from Judith in 2024 when she plans to teach brioche, fair isle & cable knitting as well as sock knitting. Best wishes, Duttons for Buttons"

Beverley reviewed: Hare Sculpture workshop with Jo Garden Art in beautiful Norfolk/Suffolk

"It was the first time I had braved something like this on my own and I absolutely loved this course. It was clear on arrival that Jo has a wonderful warmth about her and the step by step guidance, helping hand if needed and the slick timings that kept us all at the same creative pace was perfect. It was clear that Jo and Andy really have gone that little bit extra to make this course something special,. The attention to detail with the glass capsule message if you choose to add one at the start and the sweep of gold to finish - not sure of the professional term 🤣 were much appreciated. Thank you both so much."

Jo Garden Art responded:

"I think 'sweep of gold to finish' is a very suitable term Beverley! Thank you so much for your lovely comments. It's a busy day, but I think having completely different 'sections' generates constant interest and the time races by. So glad you enjoyed it and went away with your fabulous hare. Jo xx"
