"This was a really fun and inspiring course. I hadn't done any woodwork since some D&T disasters in school but Charlie taught the techniques really well and tailored her teaching to each person. I was really pleased with the rattle I made and they'd all make fab gifts."

"Due to matters 100% out of my control I was not able to attend (the weather) and they were unwilling to arrange any form of compensation for me ie refund reschedule etc so I deleted £70 from my bank account. "

This you were aware of prior to booking. The weather warning did not say to avoid travelling, it was that there may be delays in your journey. "I attended a lovely class of 6 people where some of us were complete beginners, others had some experience. Olivia was attentive to all & she gave clear instruction with plenty of tips. By the end of the day I had finished a 2 colour linocut print, which has now fired me up to buy my own print supplies to pursue this new hobby from home. Also, Olivia very helpfully follows up this workshop with an email of a list of print suppliers. Highly recommend! "

"Had the most enjoyable day on Saturday with Lucy in Lewes. Very good teacher, had loads of patience with us and a lovely friendly manner. Great space, good simple lunch and plenty of good humour. I am pleased as punch with my footstool. Lucy even let me change my fabric colour choice to marmalade which I am so pleased with. I would recommend this course, you won't be disappointed!"

"I cannot recommend this course enough, it was such a fantastic weekend. So inspiring, the work we produced was far better than I think we all expected due to the fantastic teaching from Peter Lanyon. I created a stool that I'm absolutely delighted with. The location was really cool, a proper workshop with nice outdoor space, a rustic feel and a great sense of the weekend being a retreat, where you can lose yourself in a new hobby and come away feeling inspired and enriched. I would say this course is a fantastic present for a loved one (it was a gift to me from my wife) or a great treat for yourself. I really bonded with everyone on the course and everyone despite their background came away with an awesome stool or side table."

"The Introduction to Felting workshop was fantastic. Emma was super informative and thoroughly explained the process of creating felt. I liked the fact that the group made our felt creations in steps together alongside Emma. We were also given the creative freedom throughout the workshop - creating two felt pieces (one alongside Emma and one by ourselves). If we got stuck at any point Emma was on hand to help, but also an instruction sheet was provided alongside other resources, which was very helpful to refer to if needed. Coffee and biscuits were also provided, which is always a bonus! We absolutely loved the workshop, and would like to book on to more!"
