Simona Doyle (Rome/Dublin) reviewed: Bespoke Photo-encaustic workshop

"My second one-to-one two-day Photo-Encaustic tutorial with Lyn Kirkland was again a great success. On my arrival, several substrates and all of the agreed-upon photos for printing were ready. Tuition was intense, and I returned home feeling very confident and with a new approach to some finishing ideas suggested by Lyn herself that gave my work a whole new look. A look I would have never thought of. And it works! Thanks, Lyn, for your highly professional help and for solving my problems yet again. That's why I keep coming back! "

Charlotte Barker reviewed: Introduction to Arc or Stick Welding, with award winning metal artist, Roger Russell

"I purchased the 3 hour welding course for my partners birthday. Roger was extremely welcoming on arrival, run us through the different welding techniques and most importantly safety. We had the opportunity to test our very beginner welding skills on test pieces and then moved onto welding together a dragon fly. The end result was far from perfection but something to be proud to hang in the garden at home. If you are a complete beginner, advanced or something in-between Roger will be able to taylor a course to suit your needs."

"Thank you Charlotte "

Tom Smart reviewed: Blacksmith experience day: try out life in the forge

"I had a great day with Adam, 3 or less participants, easy to find. Adam is very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained all health and safety aspects and all the smithing steps involved in making our toasting fork. Very hands on course, and can get very physical during the day with the amount of hammering to be done. Adam always on hand to guide and assist. At the end of the day I did feel I had achieved something, I made a toasting fork and appreciate a bit more of what’s involved. I would certainly recommend this day. "
