My designs are mainly influenced by geometric shapes and Art Deco design. I've built up a wide range of skills and now have the luxury of time and space to make my own products and to experiment with techniques and styles. Ultimately though, I love passing on my passion for leather craft to other people by running a series of workshops. I cater for both individuals with 1 to 1 tuition and groups at my Essex studio or larger groups at other venues so email me if you'd like more information.
"I attended the half day leather belt course. Excellent tutor who explained all the tools and techniques and more. Was presented with choice after choice. What colour leather, stitching, rivets or stitching. I supplied my own buckle which I have made into a lovely new belt. I have faith this will last a lot longer than the modern bonded leather ones you buy. Also embossed my initials. Got me thinking about what else I could make in leather. I bought her book, which explains all the tools and techniques. And also a list of leather suppliers. An eye opener of a course. Thank you. "
"A thoroughly enjoyable day with excellent tuition. Very pleased with the usefulness of the content and appropriate level of information about working with leather in general. Would highly recommend as a starter or taster course. Very pleased with the items I made and has inspired me to make a few inexpensive tool purchases to make more items. Very good value for money. "
"My husband surprised me with a Full Day Leather Craft Workshop for our 3rd anniversary (because, well, leather - and I really enjoy making things by hand). We both absolutely loved it . We learned a ton of new skills, gleaned some fascinating information and came away with some (eventually!) rather professional looking handmade leather gifts for each other.
Rosanna is lovely. She’s a brilliant teacher, and went way out of her way to make sure all three of us on the course got out of it what we were individually looking for. She’s also very welcoming. I think we all felt relaxed and at home. The first part of the day was a bit intense (steep learning curve!) but the whole day was an absolute buzz. I can’t recommend it enough - whether you want to learn something new, or (like us) find a memorable way to spend your 3rd anniversary. "
"I attended a full day session. Rosanna was very good with her instructions and we had a number of options of items we wanted to make. I have managed to get my husband to put his glasses in a case - by making a lovely case for them! I also made a few other colourful items which was great to do in a day."
