Maker's bio

I aim to provide relaxed, friendly and fun workshops combining my experience from fashion/textiles printing and many years teaching GCSE and A level students in their Fine Art and Textile studies. It's all about exploring possibilities with colour, shape, layers, pattern and textures - which I love to do within my own work, creating a range of prints and collages on paper, fabric and cards.

Sarah Garratt reviewed: Introduction to Lino Printing in Cambridgeshire

"Really enjoyed my day of Lino cutting. I found the modern alternative to the craft set that I battled with as a child so much easier to work with! Judith had a great range of resources and materials to inspire us and we were able to play with plenty of colour options with our completed design. The venue was ideal with a shop and cafe into the bargain. "

"This is an excellent course, led by an experienced and very friendly teacher. It's well structured, with plenty of time for experimenting, and you take home your lino cut together with lots of lovely prints. I would thoroughly recommend it."

"Very many thanks Anneke, it was a pleasure to help you create your first Lino prints. Your fish are super, and I hope the day has inspired you to continue Lino printing. "

Amy Crane reviewed: Introduction to Lino Printing in Cambridgeshire

"I had a lovely day doing this course. The group size was just right - perfect for getting some individual attention when needed, but also a good size for a bit of social interaction and sharing of ideas. Judith's tuition was really accessible, making sure we had the basics we would need to be able to create something satisfying in just one day, and the range of materials provided made all sorts possible. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, whatever level you think you are. Highly enjoyable. Lovely venue too."

print paper stitch experiences responded:

"Thank you so much Amy. Great to spend the day with you, your hedgehog prints are beautiful. I hope you continue to create more prints!"
