"We had a fabulous day on the one day course. Jo was fantastic and made sure all participants had an enjoyable day. Help and guidance was always on hand and Jo was re-assuring and encouraging about everyone’s sculptures. It was great value for money and a lovely way to spend the day. Our hares are proudly displayed in our garden and look very much at home. "

"A wonderful day, relaxed and fun. The course was a great pace with Jo taking us through each stage and offering support if needed. Having no crafting experience, we didn’t have high expectations for our sculpture but our Hares look amazing and they have pride of place in our garden. We would highly recommend giving this course a go. "

"Really lovely day! Jo did a fantastic job of walking through the steps with us and provided excellent feedback throughout the process. I hadn't expected to produce much of substance, but it truly was very easy to follow along with Jo's instruction and created a lovely piece for my home. The studio was incredibly beautiful, and meeting the two dogs was a delight. Wholeheartedly reccomend to anybody looking for a fun, unique workshopping activity to do."

"We had such a fantastic day with Jo at the hare sculpture course. We all thought we would be rubbish but Jo was very helpful and informative and we all came away with a hare we are proud to display. My 14year old daughter also came and managed to follow along easily and really enjoyed herself. The studio was comfortable and the hosts were very warm and welcoming. Would 100% recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun day out and to try something different! "

"An absolutely brilliant day with friends. We all thought we would be rubbish... but Jo's patience and expert instructions and demonstrations enabled each of us to produce a beautiful Hare, and they were all gorgeous and all different!. The house and gardens are beautiful and Jo and Andy were so lovely, as much tea and coffee as we wanted, snacks, laughter, dogs, a kitten and a lot of fun! Highly recommended, and honestly, you don't need to be "arty" - if I could do it, so can you! "

"I had a fabulous day doing the hare sculpture course! It was great learning the technique and Jo tells you exactly what you need and where to get the materials from so you can continue to experiment at home. I bought the greyhound sculpture kit and can't wait to give it a go! We were made a tea or coffee when we arrived then off to the workshop to get started. All went at an easy pace and instructions were easy to follow. Thank you for a great day! "

"This was such a wonderful gift for my 16 year old grandson. He had just finished his GCSEs, and was very pleased to enjoy some creative time to chill after the stress of exams! The materials arrived promptly, well packaged, and with very clear and easy to follow instructions. The video is such a fab idea! I will certainly look to purchase more craft kits in the future. Thank you, Jo, for such a great service from start to finish."

"From the moment I turned up onto your drive, Andy was extremely helpful in guiding me to park, and so the day progressed in the same fashion. You were very welcoming, and I instantly felt at ease, and you and Andy were the perfect hosts, offering us unlimited tea and coffee [of various flavours] throughout the day, along with Kit Kats and even an ice cream cone, totally unheard of 😊 The studio is nestled in the beautiful and tranquil gardens of Jo and Andys property, its magical actually, you feel as though you are in a open air art gallery. To begin with I CANNOT believe what we achieved in a day! We all left with our Hare in various postures and poses, all with different personalities. You explained the whole process thoroughly, supplied us with everything that we would need, down to your favourite bamboo stick! I don’t want to give too much away as it would spoil it for all new students, but the process was fantastic, from the skeleton to the finished product. We could then purchase kits of various kinds and sizes to take home with us, and included was absolutely everything. Jo you are so passionate about your arts and crafts, and it is lovely that you find the time to share with willing students. I will definitely be coming back to learn a new thing or two. Thank you to both of you. "

"Myself, mum and aunt thoroughly enjoyed our Hare Sculpture Day. Being complete beginners we were quite amazed at what we had achieved by the end of the day, and really pleased with our final Hares. Jo was a great teacher, explaining every detail and helping us all at every stage. Refreshments were also readily available. I would thoroughly recommend everyone to take-part."

"Never thought I would be able to produce the amazing hare sculpture which was done at Jo’s fantastic workshop. Fantastic day in beautiful setting with a great group of 7. Jo exuded confidence in all of us to produce great hares. Along with her husband Andy, Jo ‘s enthusiastic help, support and belief was second to none. Everyone marvelled at what they had produced. I can already feel a return trip to build ‘a buddy’ for my hare. Absolutely amazing day. Thank you both and fellow hare makers for a memorable and fun day. "

"I had a really enjoyable day creating my hare. The setting for the workshop was delightful in Jo and Andy's beautiful garden. They both looked after us all so well throughout the day, providing continuous refreshments and made us feel relaxed and at home. Jo was such a good teacher, well structured and exceptionally organised, She took us through the stages, step by step, so that we all ended up creating a lovely sculpture. A lot of thought had gone into the purchasable kits too, right down to those little things that you wouldn't always expect, Jo had thought of everything. Really recommended."

"Wow, what a terrific day crafting. My thanks to Jo and Andy it’s a well organised, well planned out day. The tutoring splendid I loved every minute with plenty of tea chocolate breaks. I and my friend attended the course on the recommendation of another happy customer. All 7 of us attending ended up with a magnificent hare to take home and admire and with terrific memories. "My daughter bought me the large hare kit for mothers day. It was the most perfect gift! Everything I needed to create a glorious hare, who now sits proudly in my garden. Jo's instructions were very clear and easy to follow and her after sale service is excellent. I made my hare over a weekend, I loved how you could shape it to your own preferred stance, and so make something truly your own. Absolutely wonderful!"

"An excellent course, Jo is a patient and supportive tutor and artist. The setting is superb and inspirational. The course very well planned out, well spaced, and resourced, with plenty of tea & choc biscuits thrown in. We all ended up with work which we could gladly claim as our work and display with pride in our homes. This is my 2nd course with Jo, my first was her excellent Slate Mossaic course. I will be back to add to the hare family. "

"Such prompt and courteous service! Personal communication with the seller was received soon after the order was placed. The package arrived quickly and was well presented. I love the accompanying video, which makes everything so clear and easy to follow! This is a gift for my 16 year old art-loving grandson to work on post GCSEs. I think he will love it!"

"Fabulous day with Jo in her beautiful, peaceful studio and garden. There was a lot to fit into the day but everything was explained and modelled so we were all able to keep up. What is great is that someone with zilch artistic talent (and I'm not being modest) can produce an impressive hare to take home. I went for a medium sized one and I'm looking forward to putting him in amongst my roses in the gardens. I'll definitely be back to make a little friend for him. "

Philippa Snellgrove reviewed: Small outdoor plaster hare sculpture kit (30cm) with full video instructions by Jo Garden Art

"This is such a fabulous crafting experience. I was gifted the small hare sculpture kit and made time over the Easter holiday to concentrate on making it. The kit itself is brilliantly put together and carefully packed, with top quality materials from the paintbrush through to the gilt paint. I followed Jo's video tutorial which was perfect. As Jo was making her hare in real time it allowed me to keep up without feeling pressured, and in fact made it feel a bit like I had some company as I crafted as well! It really doesn't take that long to make although I did leave my painted hare to dry overnight. I had one minor query when my plaster cracked a little as it dried and I emailed Jo, who came back very quickly with some helpful advice. A fabulous experience from start to finish, and I am delighted with my final moon-gazing hare 'bronze' scuplture."

They both did, we are thrilled, the day is long but enjoyable as Jo leads you through the different stages, fuelled by lots of tea and coffee.
