"Our children bought us both a day’s hare making course as an anniversary present. I thought that maybe Jo had met her match as neither of us have ever done any sculpting before, and I am particularly bad at anything ‘arty.’ Jo has a very calm and can do attitude. She showed us step by step what to do, then left us to do our own thing, but had the wonderful knack of being ready to make suggestions, or get you out of a muddle without taking over. We both were very pleased with our creations! Thank you for a lovely day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the course, or Jo as a teacher. "

"I had a wonderful day making my hare. I had never done any sculpting before but with Jo's excellent tuition I came home with a beautiful hare. It's a fabulous studio and the whole day was very friendly and relaxed and also, the kettle was always on! I would highly recommend this craft workshop."

"In all honesty I was quite nervous about the hare sculpture day as I am not artistic at all but I shouldn't have worried! Had a fab day, Jo is so encouraging and gives very straightforward and sensible instructions and demonstrations to guide you - would thoughly recommend and you go home with a gorgeous hare - you honestly can't go wrong!"

"The second time I have visited Jo’s hare sculpture workshop day, the first with a friend, the second with my mum, what a wonderful day with an incredible facilitator as Jo calls herself. Jo is so much more than that, a truly lovely, kind and inspiring lady who really cares everyone comes away with a sculpture that is the very best of their creative self. Jo and her husband give you a very warm welcome into their home and studio, along with their two very friendly dogs. It’s natural to have some reservations about the day, especially if you have never attempted any sculpture work or anything particularly creative in the past but these reservations quickly disappear with Jo’s friendly and fun tuition. I would highly recommend a day creating a hare sculpture with Jo in her peaceful and inspiring studio. "

"This is an amazing kit to do! I was a bit worried that without having a tutor by my side I would be a bit lost with it, but all I can say is don't be afraid to have a go! Jo's video tutorial is brilliant, she gives you so much confidence and makes you feel at ease, it really is like she is standing next to you! I would advise anyone to have a go at this, I am a total beginner and found it such fun and very relaxing. Also super happy with my end result. "

"Jo's facilities, materials, guidance and encouragement made this Slate Mosaic Day a first rate experience. Everything was very well planned within the context of a relaxed social atmosphere. The day was absorbing and entertaining and resulted in some lovely pieces to take home. I couldn't fault the day and am returning in the summer for a two day sculpture course. Can't wait!"

"Superb day workshop. Excellent tuition/advice from Jo, who was very encouraging and offered her skills/help when needed. Welcoming and comfortable studio with a fantastic choice of materials and tools. Certainly the best art activity I’ve done in a long time and extremely pleased with both of my slate creations. They look fab on the wall. Highly recommended. Many thanks to Jo."

"I did this course, it was excellent, 5⭐️. Jo is a wonderful tutor, she skilfully explained her craft, provided a bounty of materials to work with, a great studio, and hospitality, and with patience and great feedback and suggestions was able to tutor-guide me to create two complimentary mosaics, Hare + Tortoise, completed The Race. My race to complete the two mosaics would not have got of the blocs without Jo, thank you ever so much. I will be coming back for more. "

"What a great value for money day out in lovely surroundings with a great, friendly tutor who certainly put you at ease, made you feel welcome and gave time to everyone to help you create something you were very proud of. I loved the experience and am so happy with my Hare, I bought a take home kit to make a friend for him!! Big thumbs up and even bigger thankyou from me. I have now booked to try the slate making day. "Great workshop with a wonderful tutor and beautiful studio. I attended this workshop thinking I’d never produce anything as lovely as the images on Jo’s website. But Jo explains everything in detail and even a person without a creative bone in their body like me leaves with a gorgeous hare. It’s amazing how different each hare is. I felt so confident I also purchased a kit to do at home. Thank you Jo for your help and for sharing your skills, home and workspace. I’d recommend this very popular workshop to anyone"
