Welcome 😃 I'm Jo Garden. I call myself a 'facilitator' as my joy is enabling people of any skill to achieve something they did not expect, plus have time away from the everyday stresses of normal life. My sculpture & slate mosaic workshops are broken down into small stages which result in amazing sculptures and works of art regardless of your artistic ability (honestly). If you purchase a kit, there is a full length video of me making the sculpture which you can watch as many times as you wish. If attending a workshop, my peaceful studio is tucked into the garden surrounded by trees and wildlife making it a very tranquil and stress busting. I run several workshops a month but am often booked up for months in advance. If you book a long way in the future, I do make contact if I have cancellations and can move you forward. "We had a fabulous day on the one day course. Jo was fantastic and made sure all participants had an enjoyable day. Help and guidance was always on hand and Jo was re-assuring and encouraging about everyone’s sculptures. It was great value for money and a lovely way to spend the day. Our hares are proudly displayed in our garden and look very much at home. "

"A wonderful day, relaxed and fun. The course was a great pace with Jo taking us through each stage and offering support if needed. Having no crafting experience, we didn’t have high expectations for our sculpture but our Hares look amazing and they have pride of place in our garden. We would highly recommend giving this course a go. "

"Really lovely day! Jo did a fantastic job of walking through the steps with us and provided excellent feedback throughout the process. I hadn't expected to produce much of substance, but it truly was very easy to follow along with Jo's instruction and created a lovely piece for my home. The studio was incredibly beautiful, and meeting the two dogs was a delight. Wholeheartedly reccomend to anybody looking for a fun, unique workshopping activity to do."

"We had such a fantastic day with Jo at the hare sculpture course. We all thought we would be rubbish but Jo was very helpful and informative and we all came away with a hare we are proud to display. My 14year old daughter also came and managed to follow along easily and really enjoyed herself. The studio was comfortable and the hosts were very warm and welcoming. Would 100% recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun day out and to try something different! "
