Welcome 😃 I'm Jo Garden. I call myself a 'facilitator' as my joy is enabling people of any skill to achieve something they did not expect, plus have time away from the everyday stresses of normal life. My sculpture & slate mosaic workshops are broken down into small stages which result in amazing sculptures and works of art regardless of your artistic ability (honestly). If you purchase a kit, there is a full length video of me making the sculpture which you can watch as many times as you wish. If attending a workshop, my peaceful studio is tucked into the garden surrounded by trees and wildlife making it a very tranquil and stress busting. I run several workshops a month but am often booked up for months in advance. If you book a long way in the future, I do make contact if I have cancellations and can move you forward. "This is such a fabulous crafting experience. I was gifted the small hare sculpture kit and made time over the Easter holiday to concentrate on making it. The kit itself is brilliantly put together and carefully packed, with top quality materials from the paintbrush through to the gilt paint. I followed Jo's video tutorial which was perfect. As Jo was making her hare in real time it allowed me to keep up without feeling pressured, and in fact made it feel a bit like I had some company as I crafted as well! It really doesn't take that long to make although I did leave my painted hare to dry overnight. I had one minor query when my plaster cracked a little as it dried and I emailed Jo, who came back very quickly with some helpful advice. A fabulous experience from start to finish, and I am delighted with my final moon-gazing hare 'bronze' scuplture."

"What an amazing day. Four best friends away celebrating two special birthdays and could not fault the experience. Thank you so much to Andy and Jo for being so welcoming, and supportive throughout the day. And we all loved creating our sitting hares. Jo was an incredible teacher. Taking us "step by step" and if you had any queries or wanted Jo to check, it was not a problem. Definitely recommend."

"Amazing Hare Sculpture birthday present. Jo and Andy are so friendly and accommodating. We looked at the leaping hare sculpture at the start of the day and my husband and I both thought - no way in a million years will ours come out like the display hare. They both did, we are thrilled, the day is long but enjoyable as Jo leads you through the different stages, fuelled by lots of tea and coffee. Brilliant from start to finish, can’t recommend highly enough - thank you Jo and Andy"
