After a 24 year teaching career, specialising in carpentry, woodworking and woodturning, I qualified as a DATA accredited trainer, delivering subject and machine training to teaching staff in schools and colleges all over the UK. Due to my passion for woodworking in general, which is my hobby as well as my occupation, I have now decided to start offering courses at my fully equipped workshop in Stockport, for people who share the same passion.

"What a great way to spend 2 days. Mick patience’s combined with a vast wealth of knowledge is a winning format. My conference grew holding and using the different chisels vastly from 9am on Monday to 4.30pm Tuesday. Thank you Mick and for all the cups of tea. Looking forward to any follow up course."

"An excellent introduction to wood-turning in a modern workshop with top quality tools and equipment. Mick is good at explaining and demonstrating all the various techniques involved and then encourages you to express your own creativity. It was a busy but very enjoyable and rewarding two days with a good supply of tea/coffee and biscuits...!"
