Visit Sewing Vee for the opportunity to develop your sewing and crafting skills and to meet people who share interests through a number of courses and events hosted at my rural Oxfordshire studio.
I try to use as many recycled materials as I can, and to re-use things and repurpose them where possible.
Sewing Vee is located just 10 minutes from junction 10 of the M40 in a quiet rural setting.
"My friend and I made fabulous patchwork cushions today. I am a complete novice and Vicki was brilliant in explaining what I needed to do, and even though my friend has been seeing for years she has learned a few new tricks today.
Thank you Vicki for such a fabulous day I really enjoyed it."
Sewing Vee responded:
"Thank you so much Sally and Pam. You were a breeze to teach!
All good wishes
Vicky"
"A very informative and helpful course for anyone wanting to learn how to use an overlocker. Vicky was very patient and helpful showing me how to thread my machine. It looked very daunting to start with but once you learn the workings of the machine it becomes clearer as to how it all works. I thoroughly recommend Vicky as an experienced seamstress and teacher."
"My sister and I had a very enjoyable Sunday morning making a patchwork cushion. All materials supplied, lovely choice of fabrics. Vicky was knowledgeable and helpful; beautiful setting."
"Highly recommend this course in getting to know your vintage sewing machine (after a gap of many many years). It was lovely to dust it off and get it moving again and have a go with some of its old accessories. Great location which is easy to find and a bright work room which is well appointed."
