David Joss Buckley reviewed: Online Lino Printing Course with Oxford Linocut Workshops

"A wonderful three hours being guided by the delightlful Claire as she introduced us to the intracies of lino-cut printing. Even via the medium of Zoom, her gentle, but instructive and truly inspirational approach, made the course feel intimate and personal. Having already explored lino-cut printing a little, I now feel better-equipped to tackle more complex projects. Sociable, supportive and friendly, I cannot recommend Claire and her course highly enough."

Karen Booth reviewed: A day of drawing with line and wire in Derbyshire

"A very enjoyable workshop in a beautiful and inspiring studio. Drawing with wire was a lot of fun and we made some very creative fish and “kitchenalia” based on our ink drawings. It was both a relaxed and productive day, as Liz guided us along with clear explanations of process, helpful demonstrations, and lots of encouragement. I came away with some lovely personal decorations, and information and ideas from Liz about how I can experiment further with wire work at home. Thank you so much Liz."

"This taster evening class was a gift and maybe not something I would have thought of doing, but I found it very enjoyable. Steve explained everything very clearly before and during the process of making our tea-lights. Considering I was a complete novice I am very pleased with the result, which I picked up a couple of days later when it had been fired."

Jillian Deans reviewed: Two day leather bag making workshop

"Attended the two day bag making workshop with a friend and was very happy with the results. Despite being a bit daunted by using a sewing machine (I have very limited experience), Rosanna was very patient and helped guide me through the tricky bits such as turning corners and and sewing through multiple layers of leather and fabric. Was impressed with how well Rosanna was able to keep us both on track to complete in two days as we were making very different bags."

Dave Biggins reviewed: 60 layer damascus knife/axe making course.

"An unforgettable 3 days making a Damascus knife. Having made the Damascus billet on the first day, you then discuss what shape and type of knife you want. The two guys Gary and Joss give you clear instructions and show you what needs doing. You are left to get on with the processes by your self but they always appear at your shoulder if you appear to be struggling, to nudge you in the right direction. They are also patience personified at making little errors disappear. ( Thanks Joss, that grinding belt and I had a few arguments) I left with a knife that exceeded my expectation and made my friends very jealous. The gentleman on the course with me also left with a stunning Bearded axe"

Kelly Balfour reviewed: Christmas Wreath Making Kit on Eco-friendly Willow Bases

"I bought this as a birthday gift to myself so that I could learn how to make a wreath properly after trying to make my own with some success. I sort of knew what to do but wanted to have a how to guide to help me along especially as I was making it for my sister with my recently deceased aunts artificial roses. Jenni was lovely from day one and emailed me asking what I would like in my set etc, she also kept me up to date with despatch dates. Everything in the box was labeled up and tied together in separate portions, which was helpful. The willow wreath was very sturdy and of excellent quality. The written guide and the video were extremely helpful in getting everything just so. I'm over the moon with my wreath. Thanks Jenni!"

Jenni Wren Creative responded:

"Hi Kelly You certainly did your sister proud, thank you for the photo of the completed wreath, it looks absolutely beautiful. I certainly appreciated the comment about the willow wreath, as they are made with a lot of care and attention, from sourcing and cutting the willow/ivy to weaving it by hand. The feedback for the video tutorial is also very gratefully received and I am so happy that it was helpful in constructing the arrangement of the wreath. The wonderful thing about wreaths, is that they are all year round, and make wonderful gifts, so I am sure this will not be the last one that you make. All the best and once again I am so pleased to have been part of the process of what really is a memento of a cherished member of your family. Jenni"
