The workshop was well clean and well organised, with equipment and materials readily available. My pieces were available within a few days and communication was excellent. Penny is an excellent tutor and I would highly recommend this course. "

"As complete novices, we really didn’t know what to expect from our one-hour course, let alone whether we’d have anything resembling a pot at the end of it! From the minute we arrived everyone was so warm and welcoming and set us at ease. We had so much fun! A step by step personal tutorial, with lots of help and guidance along the way, and there was our first pot 😀. Remembering what we’d been taught, we got to make a second pot on our own, but with help never far away when we needed it. Our pots won’t win any awards but we had so much fun, learned so much, and are so proud of them - can’t wait to go back for our glazing lesson once they’ve been fired. We can’t recommend The Crafty Potter highly enough, and will definitely be booking in on more classes! "

Most of the time is spent operating bench tools - band saw, routers and planer, but you do go away with a nice little jewellery box. ."

"6 week portrait course The portrait course was really helpful to me, I had excellent tuition from Debra but she also gave me freedom to create my own style for the portrait. The environment is inspiring as there are many other mosaic projects happening around her studio area, students are keen to share their work. Debra has a very calm, positive way of teaching and explaining, showing other materials or examples that make it easy to adapt for your piece of work."
