"Had an absolutely amazing experience here a few weeks ago. Adrian and Andy were super friendly and patient, not only teaching us step by step but also very happy to talk about their ongoing projects! It's an incredible thing to create something from a simple piece of metal, and to do it in such a welcoming environment was an experience I won't soon forget. Not to mention the delicious homemade lunch and bakes provided, really icing on the cake! Thank you Adrian, Andy and Debbie - I can't wait to come back."

"This was my first time if wreath making at this venue. It was a just get on with it course, and if I wasn't a relatively artistic person I would have struggled. People were around to ask,but I thought it was a demonstrated course. I did make a lovely wreath,which I am pleased with but it was expensive."

"I support an adult with learning difficulties and this was a lovely little workshop for her to do. Although simple it's something within her capabilities so my support is very minimalistic. This was a great confidence booster for her as she has effectively done most of it herself. It also opened up a social situation so she could engage with people within the community. She has now been booked to do pottery painting as her next venture coming up shortly; a Gingerbread house. I personally found this workshop very relaxing and intend participating myself at some point. That's how good I consider this to be. It helps people with learning difficulties integrate in the community but it also helps with our own mental health. That I got from simply watching this lady I support."

"I booked this session as I had attended and enjoyed it last year. Unfortunately, this year’s experience was much different. It was not run by Rachel, as advertised, and there was a lot less guidance and instruction - more just a case of get on with it. Firstly, the willow rings were pre-made, which was a fun skill to try out last year. I managed to make a fairly decent wreath but only by remembering the instructions I was given last year. The quality of decorations was also significantly lower. The branches were very prickly, rather than the usual Norman fir branches, and there were no cinnamon sticks, lotus flowers or dried fruit to add colour, and no nice fabric ribbons to decorate with. Finally, the lovely hot drinks were missing and it was lacking in festive atmosphere. Next year I will be looking for a course actually run by Rachel Hutton."

"Excellent introduction to Willow weaving. The tutor was excellent combining demonstrations with just enough practical help when needed. A number of simple techniques were introduced. I left the course with 3 decorations that will be used at home this Christmas. "

"This was the second course I’ve done with Adrian (and Andy and Debbie). I made a rams head roasting fork, which looks fab. It was a really fun day, and the food was excellent (baked potatoes, veg chilli and local cheese, plus a lovely dessert too). The guys are very helpful and demonstrate things clearly. A real mix of ability and experience but they managed it well. I’ll definitely be back again in future to make something else. "
