"I attended the Flossie and Twts free motion workshop last Saturday. I cannot recommend it highly enough. A super workshop room - cosy with lots of hot/cold drinks available throughout the day. Catherine was a fantastic and inspiring teacher. She provided very good notes, thread, thread holder and plenty of fabric to work with. All I had to bring was a sewing machine with the correct 'darning' foot. Lunch was delicious - all home cooked. A lovely day out with like minded stitchers. "

Chris is a very thoughtful and patient teacher, who is there to lend a hand when necessary, but allows YOU to make the bauble. We have sent videos and recommended to friends, as we know they won't be disappointed. We also have our beautiful baubles in time for Christmas, and to keep for years to come. "

"I had a FAB crochet workshop with Ann... I asked for a solid foundation of the basics... so I could tackle some of the projects in my crochet books... Ann certainly gave me that ... she made me feel very welcome and at ease... and I completed the crochet bowl I started at the session that evening at home... so very happy :-) ... Thank you too for the coffee and biscuits through out the session they were yummy ... "

"I really enjoyed the afternoon making the Christmas Wreath with other lovely ladies. Our tutor Justine brought in some amazing willow to make the circular wreath and wonderful mixed foliage together with colourful ribbons for decoration. Justine was incredibly patient, helpful and her instructions were very clear. Not being a very creative person myself I was very pleased with my wreath and the best thing is, when the foliage dies back, you can keep the willow ring and make use of it over and over again, and not just for Christmas! Thank you Mara, Justine and Denmark Farm"

" Richard was a fantastic teacher. We were invited into his lovely home, offered a cuppa, and led through to his jewellery workshop. The shed was comfortable and well organised. Richard allowed us to be hands on whilst offering lots of support and guidance. At no point were we worried about messing up our rings. We had lots of fun and would highly recommend this workshop for anyone wanting to make their own ring for the first time. "

What a wonderful studio too, draped with Ruth’s beautiful pieces of woven work and more. Time really does fly when you’re having fun. Came away with a beautiful big piece of my very first weave. "A really enjoyable workshop. Chris is a great teacher and is very encouraging. The baubles we made were really beautiful, despite no prior experience. Ideal for small groups (we were a group of 3 which worked well). We also got a nice hot drink included. "

"I had a great day on this course with Rachel. I had some experience in enamelling but wanted to enhance my learning further. Rachel tailored the day to me ensuring that I learnt some new skills and answered my many questions. I had the opportunity to do some silver clay along with enamelling. I picked up loads of tips from Rachel’s workshop too on set up, how to pick up alternative tools more economically and on using recycled copper. Rachel’s teaching experience really showed giving clear demonstrations of techniques and good support when practicing those techniques. I came away enthused to practice new techniques at home. Thank you Rachel. "

"I had a very relaxing and inspiring day. Kate was so welcoming and it was a treat to have, coffee, soup and cake, Kate had created a plan for the day and we achieved a lot in the time. The reference books were helpful, some will definitely be on my Christmas list. In fact I know what I need now to start experimenting myself which was one of my aims for the day. Kate was great with encouragement and she enabled me to step outside my comfort zone. "

"We booked an introduction to pottery throwing and glass fusion as an anniversary outing and thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish! Instructions sent prior to the booking were clear and informative, particularly around the need to layer up and wear clothes you don't mind getting messy. Chris and Sarah were both welcoming and very supportive throughout the sessions, meaning we felt a great sense of accomplishment by the end. Can't wait to display our pieces to remind us of a lovely milestone!"
