"I spent a wonderful day learning how to make a tie the Savile Row way. Emma is a very talented and knowledgable tailor and tutor. The class is taught in a very relaxed, friendly way, in an amazingly peaceful setting...perfect for slowing down and really concentrating on practising those Savile Row hand stitches and techniques! Emma imparts her tailoring wisdom openly and with good humour - it was a pleasure spending time with Emma and the two other students...and I took home an impressive looking tie at the end of the day too! I highly recommend attending this course and look forward to any future courses Emma will offer."

Caryl’s work is outstanding , added to that she has ability to pass on her knowledge in easy stages , making all her students feel confident in the stained glass window process . Carly is also very aware when someone needs extra help, a well run workshop and great fun too. Lovely light lunch and copious cups of coffee and tea available if required . Good working space and all the equipment that you may need"

"My sister and I really enjoyed Julia’s glass bead making course. The setting is brilliant - very intimate, Julia was a great teacher - sharing her knowledge and leaving us to experiment. We were amazed how many beads we managed to make and can’t wait to get the finished articles next week. We’ll be back again for another go for sure!"

"My brother and I had a really fun and educational day with Alan. We both managed to turn a block of wood into a serviceable spoon in just 7 hours! ? Alan is a good teacher with lots of enthusiasm, knowledge, and patience, with a vigilant eye for safety and unceasing encouragement. Additionally his partner provided delicious food which was a much appreciated bonus! Would definitely recommend this course to others, thank you Alan and Sim!"

From knowing nothing and having no experience, with Matts help I produced a piece I was really proud to take home. It was a full day and thoroughly enjoyable, informative and friendly. A very relaxed atmosphere and fabulous teaching, equipment and choice of glass."

We were delighted with the bowls we made (especially as neither of us had ever tried throwing before) and are very excited to see how the glaze turns out; the examples in her studio look extremely professional. "Attended the 2 day course with a friend, what a fabulous time we have had! Annette is incredibly generous with her time, knowledge and materials. I would recommend the 2 days as we learnt so much and were able to attempt more ambitious projects by day two. We were able to try so many different tools and materials, I arrived a hobbiest and left a fully fledged print addict! The beauty of this course is that it's just one or two of you with Annette’s undivided attention and knowledge, for the duration - I must have asked a thousand questions….she's very patient and good fun so you will just have the best time!"
