"This is the first jewellery course I have done & I was apprehensive about doing one & took some time to pick this course with Caroline at Craven & White, I was delighted with the course & it exceed my expectations as Caroline is extremely knowledgeable & very patient, she made the whole day a delight. All the equipment was explained & we all had enough time to experiment & practise with the jewellery technics & practise on copper before we made our actual final pieces in Silver. I came away with with 2 lovely pieces of jewellery that I am very proud of thank you so much Caroline & I will be back to book another course very soon x"

Caroline is a lovely, enthusiastic teacher who is very supportive and ensured I made exactly what I wanted. I needed quite a bit of help and she was always on hand and patient and constructive. So, so happy with my finished piece, didn’t ever think I would be able to make anything so professional looking. Thank you Caroline!"

Jo Lundy reviewed: "2 Crafts in 1 Day!" pairs - woodturning & pottery experience

"Both Simon (wood-turning) and Louise (Clay work) were wonderful! They made us feel very welcome and were great at getting two complete beginners (Mother and daughter) to feel confident in using the tools and equipment available. It didn't matter when we went wrong, it was just used as a learning moment and they then helped us to rectify any issues that we wanted rectifying. They both had a very calm and approachable manner. The day was delivered in an upbeat, positive and friendly way. Although the course had said lunch was included, we both assumed a quick sandwich, how wrong we were. Simon and Louise invited us into their kitchen and presented us with a wonderful farmhouse lunch which we ate with them whilst chatting. As well as new skills, we took home our turned wood and are excited about receiving 3 pieces of our pottery work once they are fired and glazed. We couldn't recommend this day more highly! what an amazing way to spend quality time with each other and learn some great, new skills."

"2.5 years ago I booked a session for my Mum's birthday present. Mum is very "arty" were as I'm definitely not. Mum really enjoyed her present and I have been going ever since! Ali is so supportive and will guide you with suggestions. I have found it very therapeutic. It's brilliant to be able to focus on just one thing for several hours. There are so many different techniques you can learn what ever your ability."

"I attended the course with my daughter. Clare made us feel very welcome and relaxed immediately. She was a very enthusiastic and helpful teacher who made the process very easy and straightforward to follow, as well as explaining the potential variations and ways of developing the technique. We were hands on with tools and equipment quickly and came away with some really lovely prints. We also came out Fired up to try out gelli printing at home - we’ve bought the recommended equipment and have set it up to have a go next weekend - my daughter is enthused to produce and sell her own prints locally as notecards and postcards. Thankyou Clare for a fab morning ( and a happy, creative teen)"
