"Spent a brilliant day learning to copper foil with Iain. He's a talented craftsman that really knows his history of the art. He's very patient and calm in his approach, a natural teacher, making it easy and fun to learn. I was really happy with my first attempt that I brought home with me as part of the course, and I hope to take it up as an ongoing hobby. Really enjoyable, you won't regret it!"

She showed us a variety of techniques and supported us whilst we experimented with them to make a practice piece and a larger piece. "Couldn't quite believe how much fun this was!! Really engaging teacher in Neil - it made for a really enjoyable and relaxing day. I came home with something that actually looked quite smart as well, which was a bit of a surprise! A really personal experience, both as a function of the class sizes (max 3) and the approach that Neil takes to sharing his knowledge. If you fancy doing something creative with your hands then this is a great day out."

"Very friendly and encouraging team. Good instruction and demonstrations given. Really keen to see all participants do well and tuition was excellent. Very supportive and made to feel very welcome. This was a very hands on experience and would be as close as you get to being a blacksmith. Lunch and refreshments throughout the day were outstanding and I could not fault anything. I will be back for sure!"

We had coffee, biscuits and a good old chat whilst we were learning, I really enjoyed her class and came home with a pendant necklace and a pair of earrings that I look at and can't believe I made. Would definitely recommend anyony to book a class with Lori."

"I made a lovely leather bound notebook with Tracy. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Tracy is a great tutor with plenty of experience and expertise. She is clear, concise, calm with her instruction and was patient when I made mistakes. She is relaxed, fun, welcoming and makes a great Bara Brith (a sort of fruit cake for those of you who don't know) and went out of her way to make a gluten free one for me. I came away with some real insight into how to make leather items and how to use the leather making tools I was given as a gift but didn't know how to use. I shall be making things and using the tools with confidence now. and look forward to putting new learnt skills to the test. Totally recommended."
