"My sister and I had a wonderful afternoon of pottery, Alison is a brilliant teacher and we had a great time. I booked this as a Christmas gift for my sister and when we were unable to go on the date I had booked, Alison was really good about it and we rearranged with no problems. Overall it was a great experience!"

"I have highly recommend this clay day with Di. It was my first time with clay and it was really relaxing and fun. I learnt so much and made some great things including 2 very funny grotesque plant pot holders. I am looking forward to seeing the glazed and fired. I have done other workshops with Di so I know she is a very good teacher. She works to your pace so you never feel rushed or stressed. You can take away as much or as little as you want from this day. K."

"I had a fabulous day with Christine creating a 3D picture, with a background, with 3D wet felted flowers, needle felted onto it. I love Christine's understanding of colour and how she helped me create in felt the piece I had imagined in my mind. It was great fun carding to blend colours and also to add texture and the way Christine helped the piece evolve as we played and experimented as we went along."

"This 1 day course was great, i cant believe Andrew managed to get me to make a box in one day, you do learn as you go along, great to learn all about how wood it cut and machined, i loved using the big machines, and hand tools. "Lindsay was informative, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed learning new skills and surprised myself with the end results. I would however suggest that the course for a beginner, was about three quarters of an hour too short. It would have been easier for me if the we actually did each step just after Lindsay explained it as opposed to once she'd finished the whole procedure ."

"The watercolour class run by Heather Wilson at the Back Room Art Studio was a lovely and enjoyable experience. For someone who hasn’t painted in a long time I was made to feel welcome and the tips and techniques were very helpful. The class was run very smoothly and well organised and had a nice, cosy, relaxed setting. All materials were provided as well as lots of great advice from Heather. I will definitely be coming again to any future classes."
